The host is amazing, and most certainly doesn't lack in culinary skills. Amazing care and attention to detail was put into our entire experience at the Argo. Food was an absolute delight to wake up to every morning, and I'm not a morning person, but the anticipation of our breakfast sure got my behind out of bed. Highly recommend taking at least an entire weekend to just absorb a small portion of what the Argo has to offer! Within hours of our arrival, my husband was already planning our next excursion to the Argo

Food was tremendous - we had folks who had never eaten Indian cuisine and others who eat it frequently in larger cities and everyone gave two thumbs up. Gluten free was clearly marked and they were informed about what was in their food. Had a great meal at the 411 after a recommendation from our daughters friend. Our server seemed…read morepretty new, she didn't know anything about the beer on tap from a local brewery and since it's not on the menu made it difficult to select. The vibe in the restaurant was lively and perfect for an evening out, it's really nice inside too. While the food was pricey, I'm from Seattle and these are definitely Seattle prices, it was delicious. I got the side salad with my steak and it was not just a wimpy salad it was full of goodies. My hubby got the 411 burger and he loved it! The uniqueness of the burger with the apple was so good (I snuck a bite). Daughter got the angel hair pasta with shrimp and chicken. It was a little odd the pasta was cut up and not long, she didn't like it loaded with onions but overall good meals! Will be back.

We traveled from Wisconsin to catch the Struts at the District. The venue is conveniently situated…read morewithin a one block walk of two nearby hotels. A bonus when you can walk to/from a show. If you need to kill time there's also a major mall across the parking lot. The District is attached to a restaurant (Roam). The restaurant has modern decor and is a fun environment. I wouldn't sing praises for the food, but it's a solid option when catching a show. The District is basically a mid size open box building with a stage at the front. We were on the rail so we could see perfectly. I have no complaint about acoustics within the building. There's a "U" shaped balcony above the concert floor. If you're on the balcony rail you would be able to see the show with no difficulty at all. My guess is the venue comfortable capacity is about 1,000 people. We only had water during our show, but I was incredibly impressed that a bottle of water only cost $2. I've been to similar venues in Milwaukee and Chicago and generally pay upwards of $5 just for a water. All in all The District is a nice midsize event venue Sioux Falls should be proud to call their own.
