But it was clean and cute. Great wooden bar and tin ceiling. There were maybe 10 people in here on a Tuesday night and several looked like regulars watching Wheel of Fortune at the bar. The service was good, one bartender who was also waiting tables but I didn't wait long for anything I ordered a sweet tea which had a weird flavor so I exchanged it for a Coke which was also weird so I didn't drink it. I ordered a bacon burger but since they only had American cheese, I got mine sans cheese. That said, the burger was good. It was big and really juicy and the thick sliced bacon was a nice addition. I ordered cheese curds instead of fries and they were also good. Definitely not a gormet place, but it was solid. And considering it's the only thing in Niobrara Nebraska, it's great compared to the competition! Edited to add that the women's restroom smelled weird, there were two stalls but one was out of order. The stall had two swinging doors with a two inch gap right down the middle.
