I've had lashes for the last 4 years, this isn't my first rodeo, im happy to learn new after care tips or routines, but i don't need to be harped on for 90 minutes, thanks, especially when I don't control how YOU work. 1st- it is standard practice to cleanse lashes before starting on a fill. this is never done here. 2nd, any loose or overgrown lashes should be removed. This is also not done. and lastly, BONDANT/SEALANT SHOULD BE USED AND SET PRIOR TO THE CLIENT LEAVING.... sometimes done. there's also never anyone at the front desk, ever, so you're left to stand there awkwardly until someone comes to get you. the one time there was a gal answering phones, she was incredibly rude to a guest named Nancy, who had a highlighting service booked for the next day. Nancy called to ask approximately how long the serice might take, one assumes, so that she could plan the rest of her day. the gal answering the phone told her she had no idea, and no, she couldn't ask, as the stylist was not in, and no, she didn't know how long she was booked for, and NO NANCY, THAT'S NOT REALLY MY JOB, OKAY? She then ran right back to the stylist she said was not in, and started talking about Nancy, (i assume that stylist had someone in her chair currently as well), telling her that she was glad she wasnt going to be in tomorrow, because she didn't want to deal with a Karen like Nancy. so while im sure that ill be the Karen after posting my review, im good with that. i tried to love this place, but it just can't get its shit together. beautiful place, shitty staff.

My appointment was for a VIP massage with their Milbon products. it was a two hour treatment that started with an assessment of my scalp the best procedure to move forward with as far as products and then a scalp massage and of course multiple hair washes. I was 100% satisfied and can tell you I was not disappointed. It's a very relaxing experience very spa in atmosphere and my technician Christen was exceptional. There are three different treatments you can pick from but I highly recommend the VIP. It was $250 and worth every penny the salon is conveniently located off Illinois Road in Fort Wayne. I was relieved when I called Tuesday afternoon because I was able to make an appointment for Thursday with Raena, a new stylist under Crystal's wing. She did a fantastic job! At the end, Crystal made sure to come check her work and share her tips of the trade so Raena was able to bring it to perfection with a few more snips. Details: After 40 minutes I was just as satisfied with my fade cut and beard trim as ever and the $15.00 price can't be beat so I tipped $20 cash on top! FYI cost of quality comparison: In Denver: I pay $35 haircut + $25 for straight razor shave plus tip for 60-90 minute appointment.
