Whether you have music dreams of your own or just like to get the real Nashville vibe I think you will have a great time. Steve made us feel really welcome and he tells some good stories too. You'll be glad you did. The studios themselves offer ample free parking, generous hosts, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The opportunity to witness music being made simply cannot be missed; even if you're not familiar with the band conducting a session, this is a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours in Music City. The two gentlemen who run the studio were exceptionally kind and welcoming. In fact, it felt like we were visitors to their home rather than tourists in their facility. They answered questions, offered explanations, and moved visitors into different stations with ease. One of the best aspects of this tour was the ability to sit in on the different isolation booths. To be able to chat with one of my favorite vocalists from my absolute favorite band on the planet was a HUGE bonus, then move in to the drums area and crack wise with Mike McKee? Awesome. Y'all. Seriously. Do this thing. It's an amazing chance to witness a side of the business regular folks just never get to see. And check out Delta Rae. Tell 'em Clay sent ya.

I have nothing but great things to say about Kyle and Amber Light Voice Studios!…read more Kyle is one of the best vocal teachers you could hope for! She is non-judgemental and incredibly supportive. She really knew how to get the best out of me and help open my voice up with confidence and joy. I came into these lessons knowing a thing or two about singing, but she helped me get to a whole other level! Kyle has a lot of technical knowledge and shares it in a way that is absorbable. I learned so many new techniques, like, using vocal resonators, transitioning to my head voice better, and pronouncing words in a different way to get the most out of the song. What I appreciate the most is that she challenged me with complex songs I never thought I could sing, and it felt so fulfilling once I tackled them. With each song, I felt like I was leveling up and feeling so much more confident. Kyle has a discerning taste for music and has a high level of emotional intelligence. All the things you would want in a great vocal/ music teacher! I hope to continue my singing journey with Kyle and Amber Light Voice for a long time!

I've been studying with Andrea (vocals) and Ben (production) since 2020, back when their studio was…read morein Hollywood, and they are incredible! Andrea helped me improve so much on my range, breath control and pitch! As a non-native English speaker, she also showed me how to pronounce words clearly so my English lyrics are more understandable. And Ben is the most all-around musician I've ever seen! He's taught me so much about production and mixing! He has a deep understanding of music in every aspect of it, from how melody/harmony function, to the reasons why the arrangement/production work in a song, to the history/development of many musicians/music genres, etc.You name it! Both Andrea and Ben are patient, knowledgeable, and super supportive. Now that they've moved to Nashville, I hope more people get the chance to learn from them, and I'm sure students like us will help spread the good word! After five years, now I'm still working with them (online, as I'm still in LA) and amazed at how much I can learn from them!

I slap on EQ and multi-band compression plug-ins and then hear what it sounds like on radio and TV - for better or worse. But I just did an album of my own stuff and had no idea how to prepare it for streaming, downloading, CD, vinyl. My fantastic mix engineer strongly recommended Piper because "she's been doing it forever and knows how to do it right". She does. She's worked with the best, globally. It's impressive. I talked to her and explained what kind of albums I wanted mine to sound like and she asked all the right questions. She's definitely more pricey than the online AI mastering options, but I really wanted this done right. So I rolled the dice, and won! The songs are just...better. 10% clearer, louder, easier to listen to. And Piper spent a generous amount of time with me along the way. Great experience!

Having my album mastered at Neato Mastering was an exceptional experience in every way. Piper is…read morethe real deal. She works quickly and precisely and every mix she gets her hands/ears on sounds better after she's done. Piper seems to me to be genuinely interested in making sure that the artist/client is 100% (not 99.9) satisfied down to the last detail. She strikes a great balance between allowing her own considerable expertise and decision making to positively impact each track, while also being open to suggestions and tinkering if the artist/client wishes. Piper's ability to find the aesthetic flow of a project and impose her immense technical mastery on to it made a big impression on me. I felt like each of my tracks retained their feel and character and texture, but were just cleaner, clearer, better versions of themselves. Piper's mastering work is like being at the optometrist choosing between "A or B", "A" is good, but you can see every detail of that bottom row of letters with "B". Also, I have to say that just even hearing my music through her incredible reference system was well worth the price of admission. Her setup is incredible--the best sound I've ever heard by far. On top of all this, Piper is just a rad human being and was super fun to work with. I cannot more enthusiastically recommend A) investing the $ to get your tracks mastered in the first place; and B) hiring Piper and the rest of the crew at Neato Mastering to do the work. It is, without question, money well spent.
