The rooms are great and they have a size for whatever you need. We've been in every room from the smallest, which is good for a small band practice, to the largest, which is great for events and the stage is huge. The equipment is high quality and we have always been pleased with things we've had to rent like drums, keyboards, and amps. They always have plenty of connections for our big group, and plenty of monitors to make sure we all can hear everything clearly. The staff is usually pretty attentive to our needs. They are not crazy about you touching the mixing board so you have to bring them in when you want to tweak stuff but they are usually on top of it. Whether you are a professional touring act needing a place to prepare or a local band needing a place with great sound to practice, this is a great spot.

The room is really large, it is about a 28 ft x 50 ft space, with a 20 ft x 20 ft stage area. The room is painted all different colors, which you would think would be distracting but it actually works for the room, and acts as fuel for your brain by making it more active. The stage is framed by big drapes around the back in golds and greens. These are all good feng shui colors and textures for a creative space. That is probably why I like the space so much, everything about seems to work really well to create a great feeling within the space. The other great thing about this room that sets it apart from a lot of other rehearsal spaces in town, is that it isn't built like a bomb shelter, this room has real windows to the outside world! You can see daylight, or whatever weather might be happening outside. They have a full stage PA, it is 3000 watts of power with a full sound board for running up to 24 channels. It is a great place to really hone in your on stage sound. The rates for the room vary depending on what kind of event or rehearsal you want to have. Rehearsal rooms, many vendors have offered on site…read moreincluding Peavey, Gibson, Shure, etc. We were shooting parts of a music video there, and were able to rent a truss filled with lights and get an old school microphone from Shure. Everybody was VERY helpful and seemed to go above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed. Prices were reasonable, for the most part. The cost to rent the lighting package was a bit steep. I mean I can see if they had to set it up special for us, but in this case all they needed to do was turn the power on and show us the buttons for preset. The rooms vary in size and rental rate, but every room is designed nicely and very well maintained. And then they also have a large showcase room where you can have dress rehearsals, and the going rate now is $50/ 4 hours. This rehearsal complex is for serious musicians. It's a place for people who want a very nice place to rehearse, and have a community of musicians that all are doing the same thing all around you. It's nice to hang in the halls and meet up with all the bands/musicians you see on the marquee's around town. It's definitely not Soundcheck, and it's not SIR, but if you wanted to pay out the nose for rehearsal space by the hour, you can always go to one of those places. Diamond Sound fits everyone's budget, and it is very private and secure. All rehearsal rooms have 24 hour access, and daytime hours are very quiet. So if you are a singer songwriter, or need a place for writing this is great in the daytime. In the evenings there are definitely loud rock bands playing, so if you are a full volume band, you won't be bothered by the noise, but if you are not a full band, you will be able to hear some bleed noise from other rooms. It is pretty minimal though. Just trying to give you the full scoop. Overall it's a great place to rehearse and my band has been renting from them for over a year, and we've have been totally happy. Studio 515 is a modern day, state of the art recording studio. They have everything you need to…read morerecord your next project. The building was originally constructed as a generic office building but Studio 515 has created a very modern commercial studio out of the space with a large main tracking room, isolation rooms, a huge control room. The layout of the space is really open, and airy. The rooms are all connected in line, so each person can see everyone they are tracking with. The space is really kind of an open slate as far as vibe goes. But that can be a good thing, so, that when you walk in you can bring your own energy into the room. They just recently updated their entire studio to Pro Tools HD, so now they are on par with all the top studios as far a tracking capabilities. They have a lot of sound samples on their website, so you can get an idea of what they kind of sounds they can get out of their space and equipment. I had a good talk with Tim Grogan, the owner, when I looked through their studio. They are really adaptable as a studio. They work on projects ranging from totally independent sessions to label sessions. Their day rates are cheaper than some other studios in town, but Studio 515 has all the capabilities to give you just as good a recording. So, what they lack in vibe, they make up for by their better price structure.
