Two things to keep in mind when considering giving this gift: 1) You can only redeem these tickets over the phone or in person at a Bostix Booth. 2) If you redeem over the phone, they have to have the gift certificate in hand before they can issue your tickets. If you go to the booth you can only get tickets the day of the show. While Bostix has awesome deals, it is a bit obnoxious to use these gift certificates.

Okay, it's really not glorious. But what it does have is half price day-of tickets. For those of us who would much rather spend all our money on booze but feel like we should properly entertain our friends, half price tickets are fairly glorious. The Australian friend and I were between Blue Man Group and Shear Madness. The girl behind the glass was a mediocre amount of helpful, but once we engaged her she was fine. She explained both shows to my friend who had never heard of either and gave some honest comments. (Ultimately we decided on Shear Madness because it was decided that the show was American/Boston where as Blue Man Group is spreading) We were there in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, so I can't speak to the lines. I did stop by once for Blue Man Group tickets on a Saturday and we ended up choosing dinner instead, but there were no lines with tickets still available. I will be back Bos Tix; you appeal to my wallet and to my I-want-to-pretend-to-have-any-amount-of-culture side.

We got sitters for our child and switched around our work schedules. when we got to the stadium, the tickets were invalid. so we went back to ticket one and the owner Paul was very rude to us and I quote stated "well that isnt my problem what would you like me to do?" so my boyfriend said nicely we would like a refund since we didnt get to go. and the owner refused and got really mad at us WHEN IT WAS HIS FAULT. not only that, he started yelling at the girl that was working with him saying that she needs to "get a f***** grasp at whats going on here and call the venue to see why they didnt get in" I was absolutely astonished. Please do not visit this business, not only is it a scam, Paul is the most rude and ignorant person I ever met.

Very unprofessional since day 1…read more We had an appointment to check the place out and the owner nabely did not pay us much attention because she was "busy", and she did this at every appointment but we decided to go with the place because it was beautiful and had everything we needed. So we thought. we Went with the smallest package because I wanted to decorate myself. she said " your wedding is destined to fail" because I didn't wanna pay the extra $4000 just for her to decorate?? she said the oven came with the hall Then days before my wedding she told me the racks in the oven were gone because someone else rented them. So we had to Buy some. months before the wedding I told her in great description what tables i Wanted to use and how I want them set up. Day of the wedding comes along and she has the completely wrong tables out which messes up my whole seating chart so I had to have my family run around and move all the tables around, decorate and coordinate with the caterer. Thankfully they got it all done in time. Some things were messed up because they didn't have enough time due to the tables. my bridesmaid had to get dressed in the bridal sweet because she was nice enough to help set Up and the bridal sweet had a window wide open and Everyone could see her dressing if they walked by. ??? day of coordinator/owner Jason was on point the whole wedding made sure I had what I needed but at the end of the night when my family was done cleaning up he said " okay now get the fuck out my building". i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

The room is absolutely beautiful, and I loved the high ceilings. It felt open and elegant while still being intimate, which made it perfect for celebrating with the people closest to us. A special thank you to Giovanni, who was so professional and attentive. He answered every question we had, big or small, and truly made all of our expectations happen. I parked in general admission and the walk was only 7ish minutes and mostly flat! They do have a clear bag policy up to a certain size or you can bring a small wristlet in/cross body...but it's very strict. They have a special technology that takes a picture of your purse and measures it. Mine was like an inch too big so my boyfriend had to walk back to the car :( They do have clear plastic bags so I asked for one for my belongings and he brought my bag back. Once I got into the venue, the merch was right in the entrance and lines weren't long. Plus, there's so many food options and a lot of it is grab and go so you "pay" before you enter and they take a picture of what you get on the security cameras and charge you after..pretty efficient! My chicken tenders were good with the fries, yum! My seats were great in section 240, a clear view of the stage. Wasn't too cold at night but I brought a sweater. We left a few songs early so we could avoid the traffic. When I came to Taylor Swift I waited 3 hours to leave.... Besides the strict bag policy that took us a little bit we had a fantastic time and seeing a concert here is quite fun!

Gillette Stadium might genuinely be the worst place in New England to see a concert…read more The whole experience feels like someone asked, "How can we make going to a concert unnecessarily difficult?" and Gillette said, "Hold my beer." First, parking. It's expensive, chaotic, and there is basically no convenient public transportation option. So you pay a small fortune to park your car in a field somewhere in/near the general vicinity of the stadium and then begin the pilgrimage. Then you reach security, where apparently a purse can become a matter of national security. The bag policy allows a 6.5" x 4.5" bag. Which is adorable. That's roughly enough room for your phone, keys and one tampon if you really believe in yourself. And if your bag is slightly over the dimensions? Congratulations! You now get to have a security guard inspect your purse while you contemplate whether it's worth walking the entire way back to your car. The best part is the inconsistency. A woman gets stopped over a crossbody bag that is a couple centimeters too large, while a guy walks through with a sweatshirt pocket the size of a small duffel bag. That pocket could contain a vape, six nips, a sandwich and possibly a second, smaller man. But sure. Let's investigate the woman with lip gloss and a tampon. I understand security. I actually appreciate security. Have reasonable policies. Enforce them consistently. Fine. But combine the ridiculous bag restrictions with expensive parking, no convenient transportation, insane ticket prices and the general feeling that you're being processed rather than welcomed, and you have to wonder why anyone considers this a good concert venue. There are so many better venues that are easier to get to, surrounded by restaurants and bars that don't feel like a chain, and don't make attending a concert feel like you're attempting to cross an international border with a suspiciously large purse. Gillette, I promise the woman carrying a Lululemon crossbody with a tampon in it is not your biggest security threat. Let the women bring their damn purses.
