They owners just completed a huge addition to their studio so now not only is it filled with more state of the art equipment that allows them to accommodate many different types of projects. In the east section of the studio is the more grand entrance where clients are welcomed with high ceilings, comfortable and stylish decor and a brand new kitchen to allow them to feel at home should they be working long hours there with the engineers, as is often necessary. To your immediate right is a mixing studio with a screen equivalent in size, visual clarity and most importantly thx and dolby certified mixing capabilities, like you would find in most modern movie theatres. It is in this studio where the larger, big budget, motion picture projects take place. Any production and directorial staff involved will feel very cozy in the couches that sit behind a spectacular console that as stated above is a cut above the rest, and looks (when all lit up) like youre manning the Starship Enterprise. (i truly believe that it is because of stuff like this that engineers decide to become sound experts in the first place.) On the same wing (if you will) of Post City you will find a small yet open room where you might take the time for a discussion away from the recording studio to hash out ideas or what have you. It is equipped with windowed sliding doors so you don't feel claustrophobic. A further step inwards towards the centre of the studio and youll find an engineer toiling away in a smaller, yet still comfortable room geared towards the post production of shows requiring, perhaps more basic needs like reality programming. Finally on the other side (wing!), which has it's own entrance you will find a lovely bar adorned with celebratory bottles of wine Post City has accumulated from wrap up parties/sessions for television productions they round out. Look on the walls and many signed movie posters of their projects adorn it, as well as a shelf with a few Genie Awards too. It is here where I have done the voiceover sessions. This section also has a large screen, excellent sound capability and consoles, that are geared towards the technical needs of dramatic/comedic, probably indie production projects and commercials. One popular program that this studio takes care of is Little Mosque on the Prairie. Adjacent to this smaller mixing space, is a small sound booth where looping, adr, voiceovers for programming and voiceover artists reels can be done. Feel free to grab some refreshments in this area as well, as it is equipped with its own beer fridge and microwave. The best thing about Post City, in addition to its knowledgeable and affable staff is its affordability coupled with its state of the art production facilities, and that is not only in terms of machinery but also in terms of personnel like Sound Dogs, a great company in their own right, who lie at the forefront of post production sound creation. Pino Halili and Allan Ormerod are the diligent and progressive owners and they make it their mission to provide the best service and product at great value.

Found upstairs in the confines of its King and Sherbourne locale, it is unassuming but certainly worth approaching for any recording that you need. The waiting area is modern and relaxing with an atrium available with beverages, televisions, and couches if a longer waiting period in between sessions is required. Feel free to relax. The soundproofed studios are found on the upper level, with great equipment and a fantastic staff that run the boards. Directors typically sit in the mic room with the talent and not on the other side of the glass wall behind the boards forcing you to wait for their feedback on mic. Response is immediate, friendly, and professional. It's one of the most relaxed and laid back studios I've ever had the pleasure of recording in and I always look forward to the next session.

The results were amazing. He managed to sweeten the tracks to a point that I couldn't believe what I was hearing . . . it truly sounded like an actual string ensemble. He also added some extra instruments for free! The additions were sounds that I never would have thought of. I highly recommend NewSound to anyone who wants to make their tracks sound better. He has also mixed and mastered a couple of CDs for my clients and I will definitely send the rest of my projects to him.

I found him on Craiglist on Sunday, and he was over at my apartment Monday at 1pm. He just left and it looks absolutely amazing! No visible cables, just my 32" Sony Bravia all by its lonesome about 4' up the wall! He finished in under 2 hours and the entire thing cost me less than $250 including the mounting hardware. I was so happy that I referred him to a random neighbor in the elevator and then tipped him $50. If I'd used one of the big box companies I'd have waited at least a week and paid a heck of a lot more. If you need your LCD/LED/Plasma Television wall mounted, do yourself a favor and give frank a call. Check out his work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ_KFGI3ax0

Not only do they run their own full-on agency to produce commercial voice work, they also provide courses for you, the uninitiated, to step into the world of voice acting. Courses can be taken in a group setting or one-on-one, depending upon your preference. Once you're done, you get a demo with your first ever (I'm guessing) voice tracks. This you can shop around, put on your website, all that fun stuff. The courses are informative, informal, and fun. If you've ever thought about giving voice work a try, this is definitely a place to go. As mentioned, they also produce some fantastic work, and is worth simply auditioning just for the relaxing waiting area that has comfy couches, magazines, and friendly reception staff. There's also fish you can stare at that will calm you down before you go in for your audition. For voice work this is a great place to start.

I have utilized CPPS for both tuning and repair services and have found them to be courteous, professional and timely. In the age of the Internet sites like Yelp and those of similar ilk, they are truly only as strong as the honesty and integrity of their reviewers, and in a sense their filtering systems. When I see a lone faceless reviewer from Seattle WA with one negative review to their name attempting to sully the reputation of a good local business I had to step in. It's not my intent to call anyone out by name, and if you have read any of my reviews ( I think I'm close to 100 now), you will see that I have never done so. But when I see any overt attempt by a fellow Yelper to try and tarnish a businesses reputation, especially a business that I know to be reputable, I have to address the matter.
