You won't find any moving windmills or anything. There are static obstacles and occasional hills. When we visited in July 2022, none of the water features were working, leaving it looking pretty sad. There were multiple places where the "green" was ripped. If you want a premium mini-golf experience, there's always Puttshack in Oakbrook Center... but you'll pay an arm and a leg. Miner Mike's is fine to kill an hour or so. There's a nice free playground on the opposite side of the parking lot if your aim is to entertain the kids. The young lady working the Miner Mike's window was very pleasant.

The putting green is a nice way to end the day on the way out or if you're not able to be seated immediately- take the chance to practice! We went for the $25 unlimited mini golf on Sunday. The course was fun and interactive. Its 9 holes I think you can get through it quickly. Very family friendly I highly recommend. They have multiple large bars and a kitchen with bar food. We had the wings garlic parm and buffalo very delicious and crispy. We had the bbq chicken nachos they came in a huge bucket they were just okay. I think they needed more cheese the bbq sauce was very strong. I had a expresso martini it was not all that great whatever cold brew they use is not the best. I also had a pomegranate cosmo which was delicious. Overall I definitely recommend and will be back again before end of summer.

When you start your mini golf journey, you approach a giant iPad screen, where the computer connects you and your golf ball. On this particular visit, it took rebooting the computer three times, and two employees to configure the golf ball. I thought this was the biggest hiccup, but throughout the 9 courses, multiple people in my party and even in parties in front of us were having issues with their golf ball. We had to keep getting an employee to get a brand new ball, or to even reset the current golf round. I think the technology aspect of this place is cool, but desperately needs upgrading.

To preface this review, I'm am a beginner golfer, so the intricacies of golf courses are still new…read moreto me. With that being said, I loved the Zigfield course. The staff were super friendly, and they made sure you knew deals the were having and really emphasized to just have fun with the course. The course is a par 3 course so it shouldn't be treated like a ultra competitive professional course. You should have fun with it, and my group definitely did. The course offered enough obstacles to make you think how you need to pay, and the greens were a fun challenge. On the downside, there were definitely some bad divits on the Fairway and some bad patches on the green that weren't that big a deal, but when putting and there is bald patch on your line, it makes it that much harder to hit your putt. Finally the markers for teeing off were definitely moved around and the range to green was definitely not right fortunately we had a range finder. Overall though great experience, and I will definitely be returning to practice my mid range game.
