I somehow stumbled upon 1st Quality Flooring. I initially spoke with David and then was put in touch with the Project Manager, Wallison, who I can't say enough good things about. Wallison came to my house the same day and was able to start working a few days later. Not only was Wallison happy to answer all of my questions but he was very helpful in picking up and delivering the materials as well helping me save money. The final price I paid for the laminate and tile install was more than reasonable and the quality of the work is superior. Joe Iannelli took a completely different--and honest--approach. He resanded and refinished the floors to achieve one uniform color, saving me a significant amount of money compared to installing a new floor. Joe worked entirely on his own, carefully protected everything, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. He has a great personality and strictly specializes in hardwood flooring, which truly shows in the quality of his work. I later referred Joe to a client with a million-dollar home who was told by several companies that she needed all new floors. Joe refinished them instead, saving her a lot of money, and several of her neighbors ended up hiring him as well. Joe also refinished the floors and stairs in my second home. He had this job completed in 2 days!! They did such a great job that I was comfortable with them doing work in my own home. In my home they replaced the horrible shag carpet and demoed my tile and replaced it all with engineered hardwood flooring. They also stained my stairs to match the new hardwood floors. They had this job completed in 3 days!! I am in love with the finished product!!!! Daniel is a dream to work with. He is always on time and if he is running a little late he will let you know way in advance. Just to show you what a nice person he is while at my home he noticed my front door handle was installed backwards (my DIY attempt gone wrong. LOL!!) He had one of his workers fix it. I didn't even have to ask him to fix it. Other companies would have seen it and not tell me it was installed wrong, let alone repair it. I would give more stars if I could. I cannot possibly list all the things that this company did wrong so to make it short .. they tore…read moreout main low bearing wall and didn't put correct support back up , which was fixed after we seen it and told them to come back and fix it. Multiple caulking left with major holes around tubs and sinks. Corners of Sheetrock left looking like a major curvy road. Leaks throughout the plumbing. Sheetrock spread as if by a hand , very uneven then painted on. An electrical outlet ,in bathroom , they had cut the cover so it would rest upon top of Countertop backsplash instead of moving the outlet an inch up. I could list more but bottom line we kept sending the pictures to the person who was suppose to be overlooking this 40k job and he would argue with us , say these men are professionals and belittle us just because we asked for them to come and fix the issues. When I say a teenager could have done better , you can imagine the poor work that was done. We are left with lots still not corrected because he chooses to not step foot in our house , saying we are picky. When someone spends their hard earn money for a job to at least be done almost correct , that what they should get. Lesson learned. Hope others don't.
