However, my daughter went in for a prom appt last May and unfortunately and unbeknownst to me, we were given what seemed to be a new and inexperienced Male hairstylist. My daughter showed Sam an example of a half up and half down updo with some soft beach waves. Instead, she received an updo that lacked sheekness and elegance with tight curls. I honestly could have done a much better job and have in the past, but wanted to avoid the stress of doing her hair on such a special occasion. I honestly don't think that any person going to a special event such as the Prom or a Wedding should have to go through the horrific experience we went through on this day. This is my first time writing a negative review, but we were upset that the manager disregarded how upset we were and never received an apology from anyone. This was very upsetting. I understand that like any job it takes time and experience for a hairstylist to become very good. However, shame on them for allowing an inexperienced hairstylist to take on updos on such an important day as the Prom. The receptionist could have mentioned that perhaps he was new. I regret not taking a picture. I had to immediately redo her hair at home in a 30 minute window before pictures were taken. I am not one to post something so negative or hurtful , but I want to save future girls from experiencing what we experienced.

I gave them my Groupon number so they could see I had the Groupon. However, I did not want my Groupon redeemed before my service (this happened with my last groupon) so I was not comfortable supplying the redemption code. I reached out to Groupon and they told me that I should not provide my redemption code until I recieve the service. When I told the merchant this, they told Groupon to cancel my order behind my back and I did not find out until Groupon emailed me and told me per the email here. They said they 'pride themselves on great service' but this did not seem like great service going behind a customers back to cancel an order. Be aware that if you do purchase a Groupon you will be required to provide the redemption code before the service is completed, which means they could redeem before the service is completed.
