I wish we hadn't waited as long as we did to find For The Love of Clean! I met with Vanessa and Chasity and felt immediately comfortable with both of them. I took them on a tour of the home and they were not instantly scared away which was a great start. Then they mentioned that they are also certified organizers as well! We have no idea that was a thing. We had them come in and clean and organize our main living areas. We gave him full freedom to work their magic and we were SHOCKED at how amazing our home looked. They cleaned a corner of the living room that was the "corner of death" full of boxes and random junk that didn't have a home and they found a home for all of it. We had them come back 3 weeks later to help organize our upstairs guest bedrooms (junk rooms) and the level of care and love they put into their work is apparent. We cannot wait to have them help out with organizing the kitchen cabinets and pantry. Now we look forward to coming home and LOVE OUR CLEAN AND ORGANIZED HOME!! We have set up a monthly cleaning, but what really blew us away was the organizing. They help us to find things that will work in our space to help us organize things. (Hint, hint to the other "guys"....) After booking online, I realized that I needed to reschedule and was pleased to find an EASY way to re-schedule my cleaning in my confirmation email. Again, all. online. The day of, I forgot to call my gatehouse to let them know that we'd be expecting the maid. Security ended up denying her entry, and I promptly received a call from a gentleman who I now assume to be Gus (co-owner). He let me know what had happened and requested that I call the gatehouse, assuring me that he'd get in touch with the maid in the meantime. I was quoted that it would only take 2 1/2 hours. Well it was explained later after the appointment was made that they couldn't do blinds that have to be accessed on a ladder. If the blinds can be reached with a 2 step step stool that wouldn't be a problem. But with 7 of my blinds going up the stairs they would be unable to clean them. No worries. It should cut the time of cleaning the home now to less than 2&1/2 hours. Well they called and said they needed an extra half hour. So I agreed. However According to the company they clocked in at 1259 when they didn't walk through my door till 1:10. Then they left at 3:50. So in reality they were in my home for 2 hours and 40 minutes but was charged for three hours. When I called the company why the time discrepancy all they said was sorry and didn't adjust their time. They cleaned the baseboards that were visible but not behind furniture. And the cabinets were not polish just wiped down with a rag. If you hire this company make sure that the time the employees clock in is the same time they start working. 7/25 just read that Gus reached out to me to resolve any issues I had. Magic Mops has failed to show up for any cleaning appointments for the last 3 months. I hired them…read moreto take care of my elderly in-laws house cleaning. They are in their late seventies, one with dementia and they have 3 Down's syndrome adult children that live with them. The house requires bi-weekly cleaning and I hired magic mops to give a helping hand. Initially they did so, but back in November, they inexplicably stopped. I was not made aware of this until we had a sudden death in the family and I travelled to visit. Now, while having to deal with this unfortunate and terrible situation, I had to also try to deal with magic mops. I called, left messages, I even used the text function on the website but to no avail. I have yet to hear back from them in over two weeks. All I wanted was to get the situation sorted out and get the house cleaned while burying a loved one. Not one communication from Magic Mops, but I can assure you they have been and continue to bill my credit card. To say Magic Mops is taking advantage of us is an understatement, and to think they would continue to bill for services they are not performing for an elderly and mentally handicapped household is abhorrent. I cannot begin to explain the frustration. This review is all I can do to warn you against using this unscrupulous and untrustworthy company. I hope they read this and finally reach out to me to remedy the situation. I will update if they do so. If I could leave ZERO stars I would.
