We shared the pork egg rolls (3 in the order) for an app which were crispy, light and delicious. Then we shared chicken pad Thai which was very tasty and just right for a light lunch for 2. Prices were reasonable and service was great. Bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

The restaurant itself is located in a hip neighborhood with many other restaurants nearby, with minimal car traffic (Not sure where you park). The interior is not the largest, but it does offer a peace and tranquility with a fair amount of seating. The staff that greeted and served us during the meal was quite friendly and quick in terms of help and serving food. The menu itself is English friendly along with a few other languages, which is a plus! While I was not starving, I did not opt for any appetizers sadly, but they looked delicious. We ended up getting a large bowl of Tom Yum and Pad Thai. The restaurant was not too busy as it just had opened, but the food came out within 20 or so minutes, so I figured it would not be too bad (Quick food out of the kitchen worries me, not gonna lie). As mentioned initially, the flavors were unique, not what I was used to in regards to the Tom Yum, but that does not take away from the flavor at all as it was quite good. Serving size was quite large, enough to make me feel better about not ordering an appetizer. As for the Pad Thai, my travel partner mentioned it hit the spot and again they gave her a TON of it. Finally, price wise, do not expect to drop too much in terms of cash as it was very fair for the city and proximity to downtown. Well worth it if you are in need of some Thai goodness.

I know what you must be thinking: "Miriam, what possessed you to eat Thai food in Brussels?"…read more And trust me, I knew I was taking a chance that was not likely to end up well with this one. Oh, but Thai Talks? Thai Talks did me so right. I liked the look of this little spot right away. An older Thai lady, in a tiny kitchen facing the street; four tables at max squeezed in the rest of the small space. I got the green papaya salad, a curry and some noodles. The standout was, without a doubt, the bright and piquant green papaya salad. I would've kept shovelling the stuff in my mouth had the portion not run out. Both the curry and noodles were nice, and it was clear to me why so many locals popped in for takeaway whilst I sat eating my dinner. One dude from a shop across the street came to pick up his plated food and return awhile later to deposit his dirty dishes. The most I ever felt at home in Brussels was during the meal I had at Thai Talks. When you tire of the city's ubiquitous moules frites, meander over here for a taste of Thailand you won't soon forget.

Very minimal noodles, and the wrong type - definitely not wide-rice noodles, which was a total bummer. Still, worlds above many NoVA/DC Thai venues, and - according to Wikipedia - there is no standard noodle style for this dish. (I haven't been to Thailand yet.) Overall, I recommend, as the flavors were good.
