Review Highlights - Thai Massage Toronto

Just had an amazing one hour session with Kim (but every time I've come has been great, I've just been lazy about getting a review up).

As a student, it's a private school so you get no support really (they have no counsellor or…read moreanything). we did not even have a financial advisor (she just quit randomly). a lot of the staff quit and there was constantly new people or shuffling of administration. This lead to a lot of disorganization, chaos and quite frankly, a way more stressful experience for an already VERY stressful program and difficult career path. If you're planning to be an RMT I would go anywhere else, if you value your sanity. A lot of the notes were outdated and so was the equipment. Other than a bitter after taste left in my mouth about the clinic, school and career in general, i am still exhausted. Would not recommend going here.

I have attended this student clinic for almost 20 years, and had good experiences until 2022. Now…read morethe quality of the student massages has declined IMMENSELY and the customer service is non-existent. I purchased a 6-massage "pass"/card in March but have not been able to get anyone to respond to over a dozen requests for an appointment there. No one answers the phone at the clinic, or my emails; I leave messages EVERY TIME but no response; I've tried to leave a phone message and emails spoke to someone at the general phone number who promised someone would return my calls, sent Facebook messages... but nothing. I WANT MY MONEY BACK and I think there's a lot of work to be done to get this school back up to standard. Would not recommend going there until/unless that happens.

Was told that the massage therapist would not work on me after I told him that I had consumed cannabis prior to appointment. He told me if it was prescribed by a doctor then it would have been acceptable. Not 1 other therapist had an issue with this as this is how I manage my pain.

Unfortunately, my first experience here will be my last…read more There was a woman seeking clients to do a 50 minute facial for $25 so she could graduate. Sounded like a great deal and I messaged her. She instructed me that I had to call the school to book. No problem. My appointment was all set for today (Wednesday) at 3:15pm. On Monday, this girl messaged me confirming my appointment at 2:00pm Wednesday. I said either the lady told me the wrong time or I entered the wrong time of 3:15. But I said I could accommodate 2pm if that's the real time. She said yes 2pm. I said ok see you then and she hearted my comment. I moved some other errands around for after our appt. I arrived Wednesday at 2pm and the lady at the desk still had me at 3:15. I showed her our messages and the lady at the desk said ok well she is here she just finished a client. At 2:12 I messaged the girl I was here, just in case. By 2:30 she never messaged me back and I was still sitting there so I went to the desk again. The original girl who checked me in was gone. Cut to the chase, these other ladies told me they didn't know about all this and the girl wasn't even here (contrary to what I was told earlier). At this point I asked for my refund and left. It is 2:50 now and the girl did just message me to apologize that she was looking at an old schedule (my original appt had to be rescheduled but it was a completely different day and I'm confused by this still ... also, if I state I had the appt as 3:15 I would think it would prompt you to double check the schedule and see who has the correct time). Either way, bummer. Mistakes happen but when a job is literally based on scheduled appointment times that should not be happening. Accidents happen, but after all this, I will not be back and will continue my regular priced services at a reliable location. After reading other reviews, it seems there is some scheduling issues here unfortunately.

Eldest was a shy apprehensive girl who flat out refused to participate in any activity, until she was warmly greeted by Sensei Mercier at the dojo. The team acknowledges every child upon arrival, and each is supported as they develop leadership and teamwork skills. My youngest started at age three...clingy and always on my leg, but again, Senpai Oswald and Sensai Mercier immediately identified his needs and intervened to make him feel an important part of the karate community. He now prompts us to help him prepare for class, and asks to participate in all events run by the dojo. The staff encourage parental involvement while fostering independence from the children. My son was even invited to participate while his leg as in a cast! He never felt he was less able then the other children... Again because of the individualized attention he received. We are so grateful to the PCAMA for becoming an integral part of our children's lives. Don't hesitate!

cant believe this place is still in business this place is a scam judging by it sayin been around…read moresince 1986 says celebrating 25 years when its now 35 proves my point they don't give a dam updating their establishment and practices. i was there as a young high school kid about 30 years ago and classes were 55 mins long classes charged by the hour. 5 mins get us out set up for next class . 25 mins for warm up and stretching and then 30 mins to learn something . sensai would come in teach like one move after we would get it in like ten mins he would say now switch partners and keep practicing . a lot of times the sensai would be late and say not enough time to learn something new and keep practicing what we have learned so far. a few times he wouldn't even show up and the warm up brown belt guy would say i'm not allowed to teach anything just extend warm up drills like we were in a richard simmons cardio class sweating to the oldies. adult class was next and sensai was never late they didn't take kids serious and probably why they charged more for adults. sensai had back to back classes just didn't want to break a sweat the first class. I was told each belt takes 3 to 6 months to get . i got as high as orange they told me red would take 9 months they just wanted me sign up for another year. they said there a big step up from orange to red the adult class said there like no difference big jump from blue to purple wonder if they still SCAMMING PEOPLE TODAY!
