Recently moved to the area and I love trying new places, especially if they are not big chains. This restaurant did not disappoint and the reviews definitely helped! We just arrived in Atlanta for a wedding and was craving Thai food. We chose this place since it had good reviews so decided to place a order for pick up. We were 20 minutes away when we place a order. Once we arrived an older lady said our order didn't exist. Once she realized she made a mistake she didn't apologize or anything. Nevertheless we still wanted to try this place and asked to place a order. The basil fried rice was good but the pad thai was the worse I ever had. It's like they mixed in hot sauce or something. Very good Thai food. Authentic flavor and very convenient to get to. Thankfully it is such a nice change from the boring food around Hiram. The spiciness scale could be a bit hotter. Thai Mango is a diamond in the rough. The restaurant is nestled between a tanning salon and alteration store. If you don't look closely, you might miss it. It's a small place, but clean and welcoming inside. The food is outstanding. My husband and I have been several times, trying different dishes. The food here is excellent! I had my favorite, chicken pineapple fried rice. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. My mom had Pad Thai. She loved it. She had no complaints at all. As far as taste and quality of the food, no complaint whatsoever. However the new servers are very slow and not very polite. They left us at the table while they went t sit down for about 20 minutes without taking our orders. I had to get up and ask them to please take our order. If wasn't for the slow service this place would get a five star. I've beem coming here for 5 or six years now and the only negative thing I have to say is because of these new servers that seem to care nothing for the customers or the business itself. Not to sure why these reviews are giving this a 5 star? This maybe because they never really had real Thai food before but I ordered Tom Yum soup and Pad see ew. The soup has this nasty bamboo shot in it and it literally tasted like they squeezed 10 lemons in it. (Don't recommend trying). The Pad see ew had no flavor and the noodles were over cooked. I guess for being in Hiram it's okay but there is much better in Marietta if you don't mind the drive. To say the least I will not be going here again. read more

This place used to be one of our favorites but last few months it's really gone downhill. Last time we went it took forever to even get a menu, and it wasn't that busy. Two staff were milling around and finally one seemed to think maybe she should talk to us. Never checked on us after ordering. Finally refilled drinks once at the end of the meal. A meal for two took 45 minutes to arrive, and wasn't that great. We weren't the only ones either. One couple behind us was shaking ice to try to get staff attention. I'd say they were short staffed but there were three people front of house, it just felt like they were consciously avoiding eye contact. Probably won't go back for a while until they make some changes. It's a shame, because the food is usually pretty good. read more

Having moved from the city out to this area, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as dining is concerned. Thai Mango blew me away! The restaurant itself is simple, but once I walked it, it smelled like Thai heaven. I was pleasantly surprised to find Rama on the menu! I haven't seen that on any menu in the metro area! The curry puffs are little deep fried pockets of dough packed with tons of flavor. Get them. You won't regret it. The pad thai is a perfect balance of sweet and savory. This place is a hidden jewel. It is quietly tucked away in Hiram, but the great authentic food is no secret. For me, too much spice just kills it so I'm glad that they are gracious enough to tone the heat down a bit, but keep the flavor. I come here about once every couple of months to treat myself. Don't waste your time and money at this place . My wife and I went and was told immediately that they are full and booked . Amazingly , looking around there were a lot of vacancy that even other people were surprised. When I pointed it out to the lady who was there (1:50 PM, Wed., 11/27), she got more irritated and said I can sit whenever I want. We left and felt so disgusted . My husband and I come here all the time, we usually order pickup and have a quiet date night at the house. This time my cousin was in town and we decided to eat in. We split pineapple fried rice and the drunken noodles. That was the first time I've tried that particular noodle and it was a big hit. Just tried Thai Mango for the first time. I ordered an appetizer of fried calamari and for the entrees I had Pad Woon Sen and my wife had the Penang Curry. Everything we ordered came to the table looking great, hot, and delicious. My only problem was with the price! For example, we paid $7.95 for calamari and although good you were not given nearly enough that most restaurants give you for that price. I also thought the entrees were over priced as well.
