The food here is excellent! I had my favorite, chicken pineapple fried rice. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. My mom had Pad Thai. She loved it. She had no complaints at all. As far as taste and quality of the food, no complaint whatsoever. However the new servers are very slow and not very polite. They left us at the table while they went t sit down for about 20 minutes without taking our orders. I had to get up and ask them to please take our order. If wasn't for the slow service this place would get a five star. After all the rave reviews about this place I decided to give it a try. I picked up the phone and ordered take out. I wanted to see how authentic this place was so I ordered chicken pad thai, seafood lad na, and yum seafood. Lady said it should be ready in 15 minutes. I live not far from the place so I decided go to the bank first and I got there in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the decor was casual dinning. Small tables for 4. About the amount of previous reviews had stated, 10-12 tables? Pretty small restaurant. A Young boy around 12-14 years old was taking orders. One customer inside (I arrived on a weekday around 6:30p). Anyhow, I was greeted by the cashier who handed me the food. She said I arrived just on time(she said 15 mins, took me 20 mins to get there from when I hung up). Anyhow, I paid for my three dishes, about $33 with taxes included and headed home. Ok, let's get to the point.. Pad thai: It was a good amount of noodles. Chicken was limited but it was big pieces. The color was right. Kind of orangy, tan sauce. Beans sprouts was there along with peanuts but the presentation was awful. I know it's boxed to go, but I would like to view my peanuts to the side, bean sprouts and lime to the side.. BUT my lime was missing(had to cut one from my fridge =\). There was wayyyyy too much sauce. I've always had it served with a piece of lime and although you need to cook it in the sauce, it was "swimming" in sauce. Literally. Pad Thai is a dish were there should be no watery sauce appearance.. So, I thought?? Flavor was OK, I give it two stars. Seafood Lad Na: This is the dish that noodles are suppose to swim in sauce! Lol. It taste like other lad naw I had at other places. Decent amount of mussels, scallops, and shrimp. Also, had a touch of broccoli! I find that different.. I give it 3 stars. Yum Seafood: Or what the Thais call it "Yum Talay"(Talay means seafood). I say it's the thai version of the dish ceviche. It had decent amount of shrimp, scallop, and squid. It was very tasty and FRESH seafood! I give this dish 4 stars! Ok, honestly not my best place to have Thai food since I've had better in the past but at lease the people who shops and dine in Hiram had somewhere else to go besides the good 'ol American dining establishments. I'll return just for the sake of not having to drive far if I need a quick Thai fix! If I didn't mind the drive, I'd go elsewhere.. I do recommend this place! =) read more

Not to sure why these reviews are giving this a 5 star? This maybe because they never really had real Thai food before but I ordered Tom Yum soup and Pad see ew. The soup has this nasty bamboo shot in it and it literally tasted like they squeezed 10 lemons in it. (Don't recommend trying). The Pad see ew had no flavor and the noodles were over cooked. This place is a hidden jewel. It is quietly tucked away in Hiram, but the great authentic food is no secret. For me, too much spice just kills it so I'm glad that they are gracious enough to tone the heat down a bit, but keep the flavor. I come here about once every couple of months to treat myself. This place used to be one of our favorites but last few months it's really gone downhill. Last time we went it took forever to even get a menu, and it wasn't that busy. Two staff were milling around and finally one seemed to think maybe she should talk to us. Never checked on us after ordering. Finally refilled drinks once at the end of the meal. A meal for two took 45 minutes to arrive, and wasn't that great. We weren't the only ones either. One couple behind us was shaking ice to try to get staff attention. I'd say they were short staffed but there were three people front of house, it just felt like they were consciously avoiding eye contact. Probably won't go back for a while until they make some changes. It's a shame, because the food is usually pretty good. read more

Don't waste your time and money at this place . My wife and I went and was told immediately that they are full and booked . Amazingly , looking around there were a lot of vacancy that even other people were surprised. When I pointed it out to the lady who was there (1:50 PM, Wed., 11/27), she got more irritated and said I can sit whenever I want. We left and felt so disgusted . Having moved from the city out to this area, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as dining is concerned. Thai Mango blew me away! The restaurant itself is simple, but once I walked it, it smelled like Thai heaven. I was pleasantly surprised to find Rama on the menu! I haven't seen that on any menu in the metro area! The curry puffs are little deep fried pockets of dough packed with tons of flavor. Get them. You won't regret it. The pad thai is a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The lad na's gravy was better than any I've had. And the Thai iced tea is magic in a cup. I wish we'd saved room for dessert, but I'm certain we'll be back to try everything on the menu! read more

Just tried Thai Mango for the first time. I ordered an appetizer of fried calamari and for the entrees I had Pad Woon Sen and my wife had the Penang Curry. Everything we ordered came to the table looking great, hot, and delicious. My only problem was with the price! For example, we paid $7.95 for calamari and although good you were not given nearly enough that most restaurants give you for that price. I also thought the entrees were over priced as well.
