The food was good but the customer service was awful because the workers were racist and unfriendly towards me. When I received my water the worker put it in the middle and not on my left side next to me she gave everyone else their water close to me. I was celebrating my friend's birthday. There's a surprising amount of good Thai food in the Temecula/Murrieta area, but this one might take the cake for being the best. For one, it's very authentic - if you ask for spicy, they will make it Thai spicy. Secondly, they also do some foods Laos style. You can get Laos-style papaya salad, for example, which is what my wife prefers, or order the larb with raw beef (it's not on the menu, but they do make it). Lastly, there's a few dishes on the menu that I just haven't seen at many other places, like the Thai boat noodles. But most important of all, every dish we've had has just been delicious. Oh my goodness gracious. Taste buds couldn't be happier. We had Chicken Pad Thai, all with 5 spice stars, yellow chicken curry (the BESTEST), Broccoli with beef, very tender and tasty, along with jasmine rice and we enjoyed chicken satay and potstickers, fried. I enjoy the food, at least the cooked ones. I came in for lunch w/ my son and ordered drunken noodles. Do not use their spice bowls. I ate like 10 pickled jalapeños until I saw bugs floating up top from me scooping up peppers. I lost my appetite completely. I was offered tea but I cldnt even drink it. I was so disgusted. I didn't finish my food because I had put the spices on top of my noodles. The meal itself wasn't taken off the bill. Super disappointed that happened. read more

This place seems to be a mom and pop restaurant. Which I appreciate more than some chain restaurants that has reheated frozen food before serving. Server were friendly and prompt with our food. The most delicious Thai food I've had in a long time. We were in the area and just happed to stumble upon this gem! We had spring rolls to start... the sweet and spicy sauce had peanuts on top. It was a perfect crunchy surprise! I had pad see ew with beef and it was huge! I was not expecting for those big portions. My fiancé got pad Thai, and I took a few bites of his... oh my goodness. It was so flavorful. I also got the Thai iced tea, at the time we went it was buy one Thai tea get the other one free. We will definitely be back. Ordered pad see ew and two chicken drunken noodles (one regular, one spicy) and it came out to $50. I was a bit disappointed by the spiciness, as I had expected it to be spicier, but all in all the food was good and a decent portion size considering the price. My husband and I had dinner at the restaurent around a year ago. I recalled the fried rice was delicious. Today I called for a take out. My order was: -bowl of Tom Yum soup, shrimp -fried rice, no meat -red basil and hot chili, pork -Thai iced tea, regular size 1. the Tom Yum bowl was mostly broth with 4 shrimps. 2. the fried rice had some white chunks so not fried evenly, hardly any eggs in it. Total different than the one we ordered around a year ago, 3.the red basil and hot chili had only 2 pieces of green bell pepper, no cucumbers as in the picture. 4.I was charged an extra $1 because I requested the Thai iced tea with no ice. It was going to be a while for my husband to bring the order home so I didn't want my drink watery. The man that took my order argued that it has to be served with ice. When iced can refer to any tea that has been chilled or cooled. Total for nothing special: $49.99 Over priced and skimpy. Time to find a new spot. read more

When I informed waitress of problems when presented with bill,. She got mouthy and got owner. owner came out and said soups were always served at different times unless requested at same time. When I said dishes are usually served to both parties at same time, he said that's not how they do it Bill, $33 for 2 bowls soup at lunch. Poor service and argumentative. You can ask them to make your thai iced tea less sweet if you want to btw. My favorite would be the Tom Kha, it's the best I've had. The perfect balance between, sweet, sour, spicy, salty and creamy. My next favorite would be the crab fried rice. No words for it, it's that good. The yellow curry is absolutely perfect with rice, whether it's white or brown. Lastly, the Mango Sticky rice was the perfect way to end dinner if you want something not too sweet. I may be saying perfect too much throughout this review but it is what it is and you won't regret dining/eating here. 100% will recommend to anyone even if you haven't had thai food. read more

My first time here and the food was so so good! My roommate recommended it to me and I loved it. 5 star!! However the server was absolutely terrible. I understand being busy and behind I work in a restaurant. It took her ten minutes to greet me, then after she took my order and brought my appetizer out, then I pretty much didn't see her for like half an hour. My food was brought out by the manager I sat and ate and was done still waiting for her to come back and get a box and pay. I finally got up and asked for a box and my check . Then she goes on to say that everything will taste like candy because it isn't spicy enough. I hate to see a place being misrepresented and I feel that review is a misrepresented of Thai Kitchen. Perhaps that reviewer was not aware that you can order any of the dishes from mild to very hot in a number system. If that be the case, please go back there and order whatever you want and tell them that you want it VERY spicy or spicy a 10. I think that is the spiciest. I've tried many Thai restaurants around town, and while we have some pretty good options out there, I keep coming back to Thai Kitchen. The service is just OK--the servers aren't too friendly or attentive, but they aren't keeping me away. The curry dishes are outstanding and my daughter's loves the Pad See Iw. I ask for "medium" heat, which is mildly spicy. If you can handle spicy food, I'd recommend kicking it up and notch or two. If you have room for dessert, I recommend the sticky rice with mango. Food is amazing with decent portions and the prices are very fair. We ordered a Large Thai Coffee and it was a legitimate large, pretty much an EXTRA LARGE!!! Love this place. We eat here once a week, both takeout and dine in are served quickly and the food is delicious and consistent, AND the portions are generous.
