Tried their Tom Yum soup. Bland and terrible. Tasted like they just added a soup paste to a pot of water.

Skimping on their portion size with their flavourless hot sauce. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Craving for some sushi for a long time and we found a place that we thought suited vegans. We were…read moreattended quickly and had a table ready. We asked the gentleman to let us know which had fish sauce, dairy or eggs. He suggested quite a few items and we went with all of them. The buffet on a weekday is reasonably priced specially because we don't any seafood or any meats (or eggs or dairy for that matter). The staff knew which items were not for us was a big plus and made some adjustments and some that he mentioned that he just couldn't - which to us meant a lot as well. Most of the dishes are good. The sushi/roll rice is bit under seasoned from what we are used to. Also the avocado the first time we had was ice cold and the rest were fine. The interior is quite simple and the service was quick and courteous

The food here is subpar at best, but since it's the only AYCE sushi in town, we gave it a shot…read more After paying for our meal, I was reaching for my wallet to leave a $80 cash tip. Before I could even get the money out, the waiter came running back to the table and loudly demanded a tip. He proceeded to publicly berate me in front of my guests and the entire restaurant. I was shocked. Because of his aggressive and unprofessional behavior, I gave him $10 instead of the $80 I had planned. Being the only AYCE sushi in town doesn't give the staff the right to harass customers. This was an embarrassing and hostile experience. I will not be returning.

I think the food is good and flavourful. Staff is nice and the restaurant has a very cozy ambiance…read more I think the reason I would prefer other pho restaurants is because the portions here are a bit small. My partner normally needs me to finish her food, but she was able to finish the food on her own. The pork chop came with 1 piece. At this price point, everywhere else I've been comes with 2 pieces. I was still a bit hungry afterwards

**Covid takeout review - April 2021**…read more After a year of not having pho, I finally caved in and ordered takeout. Pho is usually a sit-down, dine-in experience with the large soupy bowl of noodles, so I was hesitant on ordering takeout. To my surprise, my at-home pho experience was amazing! I order a large, house special pho and I think the portion is bigger than if I dined in (how is that even possible?). For $11, there was enough food for my dinner and next day's lunch. The noodles, meatballs, tripe, beef tendons, basil leaves and bean sprouts came in a large square foam container, while the soup filled up an entire tall styrofoam container. The soup was flavourful, the food was cooked to order and I have since made it my once-a-week treat for myself. I've also order the vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken (or pork) which comes with 2 super crunchy and hot spring rolls (one vegetable, one pork). My husband enjoyed the fried rice (it's sweet and I think there's some fish sauce in it) with lemongrass grilled pork. I'm fortunate that Pho Ao Sen is just up the street from my place. It's given me something to look forward to every week during this gloomy lockdown.
