My boyfriend and I came stopped by late on a Tuesday night. The place is in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking. We came in just before 8pm and were quickly shown to our booth. We ordered the satay, pad see ew with tofu, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice. The satay and crying tiger were pretty good, but I definitely thought the crying tiger was overhyped. My favorite (entree) was the pad see ew and the mango sticky rice was the highlight of my night! I highly highly recommend the mango sticky rice. The consistency of the rice is warm, fluffy, and sweet. The slightly chilled mango slices compliment the rice with its slight tartness! Everyone on staff was super sweet. My boyfriend and I tried to stay conscious of the time since we came in an hour before closing, but we also never felt rushed. We were being checked on by multiple different people which made the environment feel warm and homey. At the end, one of the waiters packed up our leftovers for us which was greatly appreciate. We're rarely in the area, but next time we are, we'll be sure to come back and try one of the curries! read more

My family used to frequent this restaurant when I was growing up. Located in the ever so busy Aliso Viejo Town Center on the same side as Ralphs. Parking can get a little challenging here at times since it is a row of eateries and shares the lot with Ralphs and Del Taco. I remember going here for lunch and they had specials. My most recent visits have been for dinner though. I love their Tom Yum with chicken. I usually get a bowl of Tom Yum and the tofu eggrolls for starters. Their Pad Thai is delicious and comes in a hefty serving that can be shared between two. The Panang Curry is also a favorite here. Dinner items come with white rice. Per usual, the satays are always safe. The flavors are amazing and the service has always been exceptional. Glad to know they have kept the same great food and service through the years. read more

Reliable local Thai spot. The pad Thai is a safe bet and the Tom yum soup is ok as well but would be better if the chicken was more thinly sliced. It was a bit sloppy last time. Service is friendly as well. I like their cold beer but it's not on tap. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I ordered the rard nah which usually has a lot seasoning or flavor but it was very bland like American food I've ordered from them many times and everything else is good. Came here for the first time for lunch with my daughter. They have lunch specials which range in price for $10.95-14.95 depending on your choice of protein. The lunch special comes with soup, rice and salad. We ordered the beef pa nang and the garlic fever with scallops. Both were very tasty and satisfied our Thai cravings. Really disappointed - Never been to a Thai restaurant that served dishes with broken up noodles and no limes! Lemons do not taste the same - check any recipe for Thai food! Each Thai Chile spice is unique - I had to ask 3 times to get it, then received a dish that basically had red pepper flakes. I used to go here quite often before Covid. Today was the first time since Covid. I ordered takeout which included a Tom Kah soup for my wife. Got it home, my wife starts eating the soup and 3 minutes in she said she's gonna throw up. And showed me a nasty hair ball in the soup. It's too much trouble to return it or re-order for takeout. They have this lunch special where you can order your meal with or without meat and you get soup and salad and 2 small scoops of white rice. Well, I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and I am telling you get a nice portion of food. It was just delicious! It was filling and tasty and fresh! And steaming hot. There were a lot of people having lunch at this restaurant and the food comes out really fast too. I have been back a few times now and had their green curry which was also amazing. I had high hopes since I read so many positive reviews and have been told by so many locals how good the food is at Thai Bite. This review is for the food only, their Lemon Chicken specifically as we ordered take out, which was super fast and our order was ready within 15 minutes. The Lemon Chicken portion itself was generous and comes with a side of rice, but I wouldn't call it Lemon Chicken, it should be renamed, Lemon Crispy Batter! It was all batter, with very few pieces containing chicken. I don't even think there was a full ounce of chicken meat in the entire dish. I decided to call the restaurant to give them the benefit of doubt, (thinking we got the bottom of the barrel) to let them know that our order had little to no chicken and that we basically received an order of fried batter with a random piece of fried chicken but I was told that if they replaced our order it would be exactly the same because they SHAVE their chicken and then batter and fry it. Wish I would have known this prior to placing our order. I essentially spent $17 on rice and fried batter with lemon zest. read more

We have been eaten here for years but have not been back for about 6 months now. Stopped by tonight and were totally disappointed. 1. It took a long time for our order to come out. Server took our order before the table next to us but the other table got their foods way before us and almost finished their meal before our order came out. 2. Crying tiger was burned more than 60% (see pic). Mentioned to the guy server and he didn't even offer to replace the dish. 3. Pad thai, our second favorite dish: There was hardly any chicken. Noodles were all broken up in little pieces and all mushy. What's in the world? Noodles are supposed to be chewy and usually very tasty. Not tonight. Very disappointed. read more

This place fills up fast and I can see why. Service is quick from the past few times I've gone (around 11am - 2pm). I usually come for the lunch special. It comes with soup, salad, and steam rice (you can sub for brown rice). I highly recommend crying tiger. It's Prime-cut beef, marinated in Chef's special aromatic Thai spices and charcoal broiled, served on a top of fresh lettuce and spicy lemon sauce on the side. I'd ask for extra sauce. Worst Thai food I've ever had. The issues would be directly related to the kitchen staff at this Location. Mine was the first order of the dinner hour and the whole order was inedible. The seafood in all the dishes was seared and still raw raw, the pad Thai was so oily it formed a mush of noodles. The spring rolls weren't light and delicate and the size of your finger. They were the size of burritos with chilled cabbage and rice taking up the majority. The whole roll was tough and chewy. The crying Tiger beef was greasy, undercooked and stringy. In town for a few days, we found Thai Bite on Yelp, so my wife and I came over for a weekday lunch. Everything was first rate, both food and service. Huge lunch for the money, with soup, salad, and 20+ entree choices with two scoops of rice. I had the Rama with pork 3* heat, my wife had the Mushroom chicken 2* heat. Both perfect, and we happily brought lots of leftovers back with us. All of the staff members were so friendly, courteous and attentive. 5 star! read more

I will never order food from here again. The service from staff is appalling and off putting. For my to go order, I requested their sriracha style sauce, but the guy at the register said I would get charged for a small sample of the sauce. I am shocked since this is a typical sauce I get for free from other Thai restaurants. The quality of food is also not consistent and it hasn't been great, even at their best. I used to frequent Thai Bite often, but I am no longer subjecting myself to their poor customer service and low quality food. Edit: I ordered beef fried rice and received chicken fried rice. Was feeling Thai for dinner today, so I decided to try this place and it seemed very promising based on the Yelp reviews. There is always parking available but it might be a little far as it's in the same complex as many other restaurants and a Ralph's. They have a wide selection on their menu of noodles, fried rice, and sides. I decided on the Pad Thai with chicken and got this to go. The noodles were cooked well, not super oily like other Thai places I have been to. I felt like it was a good portion with decent ratios of meat, toppings/veggies, and noodles. The only complaint I have is that there was not much flavor to the noodles and therefore the dish overall. It was subtly sweet and not much else. I feel like I would go here again, but I probably would like to try something else. read more

I'm so happy there's a good Thai food restaurant in town! The best part about their tasty food is it's very heavy on the vegetables so it makes all the dishes taste fresh and healthy. The portions are large and I like to get lots of different dishes to feast on for the next several meals.
