Bring a blanket, friends, family, pets and enjoy a feast on the grass. Since the pandemic the Berliner city fathers have interfered with this simple gem. So far they've only made it worse. They've paired down the number of stalls and added designated entrances and exits. This has caused those inside the hawker area to encounter bottlenecks throughout. Not a wise move in a global pandemic. It used to be open all sides so that one could approach a stall of their choice and easily exit without being in throngs of people. Although Thai Park continues to be as popular as ever, the number of vendors has been almost halved by the Berliner government. This creates more unnecessary chaos. I hope this awesome gem isn't regulated to death.
