The flavors were spot on the mark. The heat level I ordered was their highest but it was more a medium. That's my only complaint. Service - they had a greeter and I was lead to my table. It wasn't even two minutes before my waitress was there with menus and to get my drink order. By the way, try their tea . Then she made a good recommendation but I went with the Drunken Noodles. She checked on me several times during the meal. Ambiance- pleasant. Tasteful. For a strip mall restaurant, I was impressed. Would I return again? YES

They were ok. I've tasted better. My husband had the masaman yellow curry spice #3. He added sriracha sauce to it as he couldn't taste any spice. Maybe they forgot? I had the drunkin noodle spicy #3 and it was perfect heat for me. My drunken noodle was delicious but nothing special. This place had almost 5 star rating with 8 reviews which was what brought us here. Service was excellent and friendly. We were here around 1:30-2 and there were a few others seated eating. They have an extensive menu and we only tried one app, 2 main and 2 desserts so based on just that we give an average 3 stars for everything. We are staying on Okaloosa Island, Ft Walton Beach and have discovered several very good Thai restaurants around this area we have had the pleasure of eating at.

After reading some of these poor reviews posted for 86 Forks, it comes to my attention. Why would anyone finish their meal, pay for it, and then take the time to go online to post a bad review? Why not take the time before hand to ask what a certain dish or meal is - its flavor profile, spice(s), heat, etc.? We did ask the chef and she was more than happy to take the time to explain the dish's concept and let us taste prior to ordering. Read all the good and the bad reviews and ask yourself: 1. If unhappy with the dish, why clear your plate? 2. If not completely satisfied, why pay the bill? Why? Because it's simply not true. People like this are never going to be satisfied or happy. Never. Try 86 Forks for yourselves. Don't be afraid to ask the servers or better yet, ask the chef to explain the concept or allow you to taste something if you're unsure. Be adventurous and make up your own mind - you will not be disappointed. Please remember, this is not a Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippine, Italian, Mexican, etc. restaurant. Rather it is a fusion of the best flavors, spices, food pairings, and textures from all these cultures presented in a creative and distinct manner. Recommend the Bulgogi Egg Rolls and the Miso Cream Gnocchi & Edamame.

I loved the performances, but sometimes it felt a little rushed and like there wasn't time to just enjoy the moment. Some chefs were definitely more enthusiastic than others. They do charge you $10 extra if you are celebrating a birthday, so we ended up not telling them about our friend's birthday and just had our own celebration after.

By the time I left, the place was packed with people waiting outside to get in. And this was mid-week! I started of with miso soup, which was miso soup. I ordered the tempura plate which came with two fried shrimps and well-sized vegetables. The tempura sauce was sweeter than most I've had, but it was all good. Based on the waitress's recommendation, I had the Fall in the Love and Hawaii rolls. They were very good. Both came on a boat, very nicely presented with an orchid, as did all the dishes. Finally, I tried their dessert because I had been eyeing it from the beginning... I don't remember the name, but it was ice cream covered with a white chocolate shell and drizzled in chocolate and whipped cream. There's enough there for 2 people to share. I hope I get to travel back to this area as I would definitely like to try some of the other rolls and dishes I saw. Plus, the plum wine was very good. I took a point off because of a fishy taste with the rolls, but otherwise, everything was very good.

I'm in heaven every time I'm here. Please note you have to call to make reservations. We booked a late reservation out on the front patio. The neighborhood is quite charming. I enjoyed one of the signature cocktails and watched the world go by. The wine and cocktail list are well curated pairing well with a sushi date or the seafood menu. Thomas was our server for the evening. He was professional and friendly. He made excellent suggestions which made for an enjoyable experience. Dharma offers an extensive sushi menu. They have the standard fare along with some specialty rolls. The standard sushi appetizers including miso soup and edamame, along with ginger salad and seaweed salad. The appetizer list is an eclectic mix of delicious dishes. We opted for the pork belly and this was quite possibly the most interesting interpretation I've ever had. Rich tender pork belly served in a ginger coconut sauce. It was absolutely delicious. For mains the catch of the day was Cobia. This was my first time eating this particular fish. I went with the semolina crusted with basmati rice and creamed spinach. The fish was meaty, flaky, and tender. The rice had an essence of coconut and the spinach was perfectly cooked. The cheeseburger was also very good. A thick juicy patty on a hearty brioche bun. The meal was lovely, the service warm and hospitable, and the ambiance was relaxing. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect summer evening.
