I recently went there (Northside on University Place) and was very disappointed. For starters, they told me to get there at 7:30 for an 8 AM appointment. I did but the staff was nowhere to be found. They were locked up tight. I waited outside for a few minutes before going back to the car. They finally opened up maybe 10-15 minutes later but then Valerie quickly disappeared for another few minutes. Despite being their first, I got checked in 2nd. Valerie (Northside) and the first patient sat there for at least 15 minutes talking about hair, skin, race, parents and so on. By the time, I got to see her for paperwork, it was already 8 AM. Bottom line, don't tell people to show up 30 minutes early if your employees are not there. Cut the gossip and check people in. We have better things to do than to sit and wait while you all gossip. read more

Went in fir my first mammogram. It was crazy fast. I thought i would be stuck there for hours but no. There was a funny hiccup when i was called in. Sense I haven't changed my gender status on my papers the madam was calling for Mr Delgado n when i walked up to her she repeated "i said MR DELGADO miss" lol im Transgender n i look like i have never been a dude. She gave the full 24 degrees to verify i am the same person n walked me to my room to proses me. She was very patient n kind. The mammogram machine was like a giant panini press. The first one went in nice but on the second one i had tears going down my face. It is very uncomfortable experience. I have known it would be because of my lady friends n family that have to do these test every couple years. Im just crabby cuz the Robot didn't take me out to dinner first! I had a sonogram done to. The doctor was very pleasant about it. She cleaned n sanitize up the medical sofa. Then covered it with fresh paper. I could see she was being respectful with my body. I'm a tad uncomfortable with strangers but doctors I understand more. The whole experience was pleasant n went well. Im just bumb out that i need more test done sense they couldn't give me answers for my debilitating situation. As a transgender lady i felt comfortable in their hands. I have family that comes to this place n they also say the same. No drama just wam bam n we out. read more

TERRIBLE place to deal with! Their phone system SUCKS, they leave you waiting and waiting endlessly. Can't get to the right person to get the information you need. I highly recommend going to another medical center. This place is the WORST! read more

I had to go in for an ultrasound on my bladder. The office staff was very pleasant and professional. My wait time was no more than ten minutes after I checked in. Tower Radiology gave me the option of registering ahead of my appointment through an email so when I got there everything moved smoothly. The procedure took no more than ten minutes as well. Coronavirus precautions are a serious business here as everyone wears masks and protective gloves. You won't be allowed to enter if you don't wear a mask. read more

I recently had an MRI guided breast biopsy at the University Square Tower location. EVERYONE was wonderful - very helpful, informative, professional, and did their best to make the experience as tolerable as possible. I don't think they could've done a better job. I highly recommend this location for their excellent service. I'll make it a point to go to this location for all future breast imaging needs. read more

I have been going to this location for years. Northside (USF area). I don't know why some people complained that the staff was rude. I only had great experience with them every time I went here. I usually go early, maybe that's why I never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes in the lobby. The technicians are always quick, efficient, but kind and patient. She even answered my questions about dense breasts, patiently and in an easy to understand way. Usually my visits are a quick in and out with no stress at all. read more

Okay we all have to have medical tests, but the where can make a big difference in your attitude. This Tower is much cleaner & less populated than the one I have been to on Habanna. I must say the receptionist was a bit rude and abbrasive, I did not appreciate her at all. She gives patients commands. "Get back here", what the...., I am a customer. The person administering my test was a bit better, no orders, but certainally no bedside manor. Quiet & to the point. Well that's one way to get your job done, not what I would like, but it works. What's a girl to do? Get tests done, where you feel comfortable. read more

I went to Lutz Tower for my initial mammogram and they were wonderful. I had to go back for a 3D diagnostic mammogram at the Carrollwood Tower and it felt like the DMV in the lobby. Overall it was ok. Today I had a breast biopsy at the USF location and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. They didn't prepare me fully for how uncomfortable and painful it would be to just be on that horrible table. I had a total breakdown after the procedure because I was in so much pain for over an hour and they were not compassionate at all. Afterwards they said many patients have complained about how painful the table was. THEN FIX IT! Stop torturing and degrading women when they're at their most vulnerable. The procedure was horrific but the neck, shoulder, back and rib pain are way worse than my poor traumatized breast. Go somewhere else for a biopsy. Please. DO BETTER TOWER. read more

Todd R. Kumm, MD did a Stereotactic Breast Biopsy for me on Mrach 26, 2019. Dr Todd R. Kumm, MD was very kind and very skilled hands. Was very scared and his staff was amazing. They explained all that was about to happen and he came in also explaining very so I was fully aware. The local anesthetic was what I was so scared of and it was less painful the a dentist shot on the upper inside of your mouth. Once I was numb you just feel it but no pain. He then let his staff care for my bandaging and then spoke to me when they where done. His whole staff is Great !! read more

Is it me, or do people in healthcare forget that "care" is part of their field? I feared I fractured a rib after a grappling incident, so I called my doctor. They referred me to FMC but they don't take walk-ins after 11:30 am, so I crossed over here at 11:40am. I waited over an hour, at least 1.5 hours, to get a 5-minute X-ray done. Yes, you heard me. I had to take PTO last minute to cover me so I could sit in the lobby to get x-rays of my ribs. Two days later, here I am, and no reading on my ribs - my grappling competition is tomorrow and I have not been cleared because come to find out, the images can't be read. They told me "well why didn't you ask for a disc?" I told them "I asked the technician what I could do to get the images as quickly as possible, he just dismissed me by stating 'your doctor will be receiving them in before your 2:00p appointment.'" WELL WHERE ARE THEY? read more

I have a great experience coming here the last 2 times. Jenna at the front desks is very polite and efficient in her job, she took great care of me. The medical staff is wonderful, polite and compassionate, in general very good beside manners. The place is very clean, quite and everything in order. All the procedures run smoothly and fast!!! I recommend this place better than Tower in Habana. read more

Tower radiology Northside (USF area): Rude staff. I'm 31 years old with fibroadenoma. Neither my gynecologist or my breast doctor never asked me for a mammogram. They always ask me for an ultrasound. This clinic pressured me to get a mammogram done so badly that they couldn't get a no as answer. I did the ultrasound requested my my doctors and ended up getting the mammogram done since Tower insisted so much. I took the results to my doctors and they said that a mammogram wasn't necessary at all. So it was pointless. I ended up doing the exam with the mindset of it's better be safe than sorry but the clinic never educated me on the topic. They just said it was their policy. The staff was unfriendly and unprepared for questions. I don't recommend this location, at least. read more

I went to Tower for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound for a suspicious breast lump. The entire staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the technicians. I was seen promptly, had only a fifteen minute wait in the lobby. The best part was the radiologist on staff, who was able to give me a diagnosis within minutes (a benign cyst, thankfully.) Helpful hint: download and print the patient information forms from the website, fill them out at home beforehand and take them with you to your appointment to save time, rather than trying to remember all your information on the spot. Have been waiting over an hour since I checked in and they still have not called me back. They also got my paperwork mixed up with another person with same first name. But the staff at Tower did not tell me the other patient did, and she advised that I look over my paper closely since they obviously did not. Will never come back again and strongly advise that you find another radiology center that is staffed with professionals that know what they are doing. Also, if you you have a job and can't wait all day for them to get around to you then run as fast as you can from this hell hole as possible!! read more

Here at the Habana location for an ultrasound. They specifically asked me to show up 15 minutes early for paperwork. I showed up 20 minutes early for a noon appointment, filled out the paperwork in 5 minutes and now have been waiting for over 45 minutes. It's 12:30...30 minutes past my scheduled time and still have yet to be seen. read more

Not very organized. I was warned by coworkers that the wait even with an appointment would be long. My advice...schedule your procedure at another facility that's not associated with Tower. read more

Terrible service. Difficult to make appointments and the nursing staff is exceptional rude and condescending. I wish had other choices than Tower but this is what my insurance covers. read more
