Driveway is less than a year old and is already cracking & Splitting ( which is why we decided to replace the old driveway) The owner told me to wait it out and it would smooth out. I sent them a 2 page letter including pictures, clearly stating the issues. Shocking, as times gone on it's gotten worse. Owner told me he sees nothing wrong with the driveway. I asked him to at least adjust the final bill based on these issues. Nope! Said he wouldn't do it. Now put a Mechanics Lein so he can get paid the remainder of his money with an increase every month. Landscaping and emergency are rarely used in the same sentence however as sudden, extreme, and sustained rainfalls made an Ark seem to be a better option than a wedding tent we found ourselves between a rock and the wet place. Lucky for us George Cardenas Landscape Design was able to accommodate our need and quickly developed a solution that offered near and long-term solutions to our problem. These days it is rare to find a business that still places an emphasis on service, quality, and working together to make your ideas come to fruition. We are fortunate enough to have discovered Cardenas Landscape Design many years ago. Through several homes, more Spring & Summer cleanups than we care to remember, and assorted yard hardscape and planting projects that always garner Botanic Garden comparisons - George, Alex, and the entire team at Cardenas always exceed our expectations! Several years ago my daughter's final wish was to live on as a white oak, we only trusted one team to find the perfect tree and plant it for Molly to be ever present with us. They also made a small paver patio for our teak bench that offers hours of time to reflect with Molly and watch as grandkids and dogs play in her shade. Molly's dream plus the Cardenas Team's efforts have kept Molly with us in all the best ways! Our current yard has challenges on good days. George and his team have cleverly designed and installed several very naturally flowing paths that not only give us access to our yard regardless of weather but enhance the beauty of the yard as well. Dirt, rock, plants can be bought, installed, and cared for by nearly anyone and in an endless variety of ways. However, finding a company that can add the intangibles of design sense, materials expertise, trust, reliability, and friendly customer focused service is something worthy of note. George Cardenas Landscape Design is the proven right choice and best value for us time and time again. Dave & Jan

It's about time I write this review! I have been hesitant to do so because I want to avoid any…read moreretaliation of any kind from this awful company. so I will be very basic in my complaint. All I have to say is that this is the worst landscaping company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! The foreman or son of the original person that started this company is very smug and just walks around with an attitude and vibe of, that he feels that he is better than you (You know, The Customer paying for his service). any time you call them with a question or to get a quote for an added service, First good luck reaching anyone to get any communication of any kind. And if and when you do get a call Days or weeks later they are very condescending and over priced! my wife and I both work as customer service professionals for two major companies so we know how to properly and professionally treat and speak to customers while resolving Complaints or unfortunate issues that sometime arise. This company has none of that. They speak and treat you like they all just graduated from Caveman University! If you decide to use this company for anything you have been warned and you will eventually think back on this review and understand how accurately we reviewed them. "you have been warned"!

I've used Midwest Tree Service 4 times now over the past 10 years, and I say, they are "The BEST of…read morethe BEST" both in the quality of their service, and a fair price for the work done. Each time there were major branches or full tree removal on a tree that was adjacent, and substantially hung over my house so it was VERY critical that they cut and lowered down each branch to avoid hitting our roof. Here are a few specific details... Staff/Team: When you watch them working, you can see and appreciate that they really know what they are doing and how to cut and lower down huge branches to avoid house damage. One of the trees I just had removed had quite a few obstructions which the team either moved or was able to work around. In 2017 they removed some major branches that were above my "Glass Sun Room"... This was EXTREMELY important that they did it right since even a small branch falling would have broken the glass roof. They did EXCELLENT jobs on all of the above. Also the team is very friendly and engaging and great to talk with when either they or I had questions or comments. Midwest Tools: MW has obviously invested in all the right state of the art tools including a bucket lift crawler to allow the chain sawwer to get way up into the trees, and a log hauling crawler to haul away the big/huge logs. Both of these have rubber tracks to minimize lawn and landscape damage. Even the team/workers safety helmets have built in 2 way radios so the entire team can easily converse as they do their job. And when they are done, they do an excellent job cleaning up and raking up sticks, scraps, and leaves. Price: Their price is fair considering all the work they do, the tools they use, and the care and safety that they don't cause any damage to my house. I would NEVER let any other service work above my house or glass sun room. Also 2 of the times I had them place the bigger logs at the back of my property for me to cut up for firewood whereas 2 of the times, they hauled everything away.
