His estimate was reasonable for the amount of work to be done and very competitive with estimates I had already received from five other contractors. Andrew and his assistant Matt took about two days to transform my kitchen into something really sharp. Andrew was very thorough and even took care of some odds and ends that were left by the builder (and previous contractor who installed the counter top). Also, Andrew was very neat - he covered the counter top to avoid any damage or stains and swept the floor after both days of working. After they left, you would never know that two people were sawing tiles and working with grout and tile adhesive all day. He ripped out ancient carpets, patched areas that needed repair, sanded, and sealed them so they look brand new. He had the brilliant idea to install recessed lights which bought us almost an extra foot of clearance (BIG news for my 6ft 7inch spouse who has trouble enough with the sloped ceilings).
