Had a signed contract for 3 months (mid 5 digits so nothing small) and never showed up. Discussed…read morethe finish date when signed and then, when it was time to work, nothing. After numerous conversations, over about 8 weeks, I couldn't get a commitment from Steve. Every time I was told they would try for something, they failed. Steve will promise to be there, get you a date, try to get to you, etc, and then just nothing. If the owner conducts business like this, I can only imagine how his crew would behave. I ended up finding a quality contractor (ZF Outdoors) that was able to bail me out, after the delays Steve caused, and still have it done by the deadline. IF YOU WANT YOUR JOB DONE ON TIME CALL SOMEONE ELSE! I'm glad I did! UDATE: Regarding Steve's comments about a deposit. To give a contractor 50% before they even start is crazy, because of situations like this with contractors disappearing and/or failing. Steve and I spoke and settled on 4 payments of 25%, the first of which was due when he showed up and started working. You can believe what you want but BUYER BEWARE!!

They started on a Monday and were done by Thursday end of day. They are the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They worked from 9am until, literally, the last cast of sunlight. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. We were given an estimate which was right in line with what most websites indicate that the job would cost. Jose said he would start work in approximately 2-3 weeks. About 2 and a half weeks later, Jose and his crew showed up bright and early and got to work. I thought it would take several days, but much to my surprise, they finished the job in one day! They were very neat and no evidence of the old materials were left behind. Several weeks later, a gentleman came to finish installing the railings. I give this company 1 star for showing up to do the job & that's about it. They are unprofessional…read more& incompetent. I asked for them to cut 2 small trees evenly i.e., symmetrical. They performed an absolute hack job which is very uneven. In addition, they damaged the aluminum siding & paint job on my house. I asked for them to provide a written contract when they arrived on the day the job was to be done. Well, they didn't. I had written one the night before, in the event that they didn't. I had Frider sign it. Good thing I did, because he tried to overcharge me, but to no avail! His ploy did not work. I will provide better pictures once the leaves grow in, so you can better see. STAY AWAY!!! Again you are not being truthful. The job was not done 4 months ago. You did the job last month. You can make all the excuses you want. Your work is terrible & that's putting it nicely. I will post more pictures & more info so people will think before they call you for anything. Also, invest in a pole pruner & use it. I stand corrected, it was 2 months ago, not one.
