The selection is good, staff is cordial, and I appreciate having a local supplier other than the gold diggers at UA Little Rock's Barnes and Noble. I have used the delayed payment option and like to patronize local merchants. All that said, if I take my dollars to support local, I'd appreciate that merchant being more equitable when it came time to sell back my text. The books are so often ridiculously expensive and the professors require the purchase of the most recent issue of books that they have written. Give your customer base a bit more of a fairness break and the profits will continue to come. read more

I love textbook brokers! I have been using them for years. I order books online and can sometimes get better prices. But they are easier to work with. Even when I moved out of state. They actually answer the phone and have good customer service that isn't hindered by also being super fast. They are a well oiled machine. And when one of my classes assigned the wrong book they gave me a refund with no problem though I did have to pay shipping since I was in another state and couldn't just drive down there. Textbook Brokers on University Ave. in Little Rock are great. They are proactive if they discover a teacher has sustituted a textbook for the current semester they will call you and tell you to bring it in and get the correct textbook. Great service. Books are always in very good condition. Everybody is very helpful and friendly.. I have found the textbooks that I have bought here are cheaper here or the same price as Amazon. I have not ever had a major problem with Textbook Brokers. When I had the wrong books for a class, I brought in the right ISBN number and they would take care of it right then. If the book was out of stock, they would try and order it if there was time before it was needed or if not, they would credit my account and let me go somewhere else to get the book. This is the place to get you textbooks. Everyone who works there is awesome. Personally I prefer to rent, and have kept a couple of books in the past, but rent if you can. I feel Textbook Brokers is a better alternative than the campus bookstore. Their textbooks are usually cheaper and they are more likely to give you more back for the books. They aren't always my first choice, but they are always on my list to check out prices. read more
