They were made pre-packaged chips topped with processed cheese sauce, like what you would get at an American baseball stadium or inner-city subsidized school lunch. Let me repeat that - we were served canned faux-cheese sauce on top of bagged chips at an "authentic" Mexican restaurant. Long story short, our food tasted neither authentic nor homemade. The "guacamole" had no fresh avocado to be found and was more of a runny, cilantro-flavored ranch dressing. The meat on my chicken tacos was dry and tasted anything but fresh. My girlfriend's enchiladas were too spicy for any of us to take more than a few bites; I love spicy food but this was just ridiculous. The mole tasted like Hershey's syrup with Tabasco sauce. The Spanish rice seemed like cheap minute-rice boiled in a can of low-grade salsa. Now top that with the fact that our waiter could barely understand us (in German OR English) and had to be told over and over what to bring us. I weird thing: when I checked in through yelp, I was notified that o would be getting 1 euro discount for my visit. When I went to pay and tried to redeem it, the waitstaff knew nothing about it! After further inquiry, it turns out this is super old. They told me Yelp isn't a thing anymore in Germany (which explains why their reviews are so old). After some conversations with others 'in charge' they decided to honor the offer. Hopefully they'll take it down before someone else tries to use it. But, with such old reviews, it's not likely people will come here because of what they saw here...
