This is our first time to be at Texas Tulips and have no reason to go back. $7.00 per person and $3.00 a tulip stem. This adds up quickly. Grounds are clean and they do have an area for children to play but we noticed that the children there playing got bored quickly. We went on a Friday afternoon and the traffic getting there wasn't that bad. Glad we went but no need to go back.

I was a little disappointed but I think if I had come a few weeks ago this might have been amazing. Today that however was not the case. Hopefully if you are coming out here for this, they will have more blooming going on soon. They charge you $7.00 to get in and then $3.00 per stem you pick. There were only a few patches of flowers blooming and they were getting pretty pucked over quickly. I am not lying when I tell you I have seen better selections at the local grocery store, and they didn't charge me to see them. Like I said, maybe earlier in the day or earlier in the season there was a better selection, but I was disappointed today after driving an hour to this place.

Drove 4.5 hours each way from Houston! I had the best time!! This is definitely an experience for everyone visiting or who is native! 2025 has such a beautiful crop this season so definitely come out!! There were so many different types of flowersIt's $3 a tulip and it WILL be hard not to pick 15+! You're supporting a farmer/ orchard so keep in mind that they have to keep up with the demand/ business and will charge an entry fee! Staff is super friendly and kind! Come out here and support this local farm - you will not regret it!!

Hello Texas tulips I'm si sad to have to express the experience our group had yesterday (3/23) was more than underwhelming. Most of the tulips that were bloomed was scorched or depleted. Unless you were looking for unbloomed tulips, the field was bare. We brought a group of 22 and most had never come to Texas tulips and their expectations were low. Nothing like advertised on your Instagram. We understand that thr weather cannot but controlled but maybe sharing some reality of the nature of the field as the weeks go by would be more helpful for those make hours of travel to visit. The price would have worth it if we were able to see the field in bloom and not half dead. So sad.

Had a wonderful. I'm in town from Colorado visiting my daughter and we all had a great time. I visited 3/24 and many of the tulips had already bloomed, and some were about to bloom. Flowers bloom when they want to! Unfortunately Texas-Tulips can't control this! Maybe check instagram, etc to see if the fields are full of flowers. My daughter came to get pictures and I came to pick! I was glad that most of the flowers I picked haven't bloomed yet, this way they will last longer! Although we kind of came in between a blooming cycle and there wasn't a lot of visible color, my daughter got some cute pictures and we (including twin 10 year olds) enjoyed ourselves.

TIP: bring rain boots during the peak rainy spring season! It can get very muddy out there! Entrance Fee: $6 per person (Mar 2024) Tulip Picking Fee: $~3 per tulip (includes wrapping) We had picked 6 tulips total between the 2 of us and it came out to be a total of $27 for our bouquet of tulips (including the entrance fee). Therefore, you're really paying for the experience itself rather than a nice full bouquet! I wouldn't say this is "great value". The Tulip farm had a lot of variety, and there were so many to pick from! We went early March, and it heavy rained a few days before, and again the morning we arrived. The whole farm was very muddy. It started raining again when we were there. Very thankful to have brought my rain boots! I saw women wearing beautiful heels, and getting them ruined! Most of the tulips lasts about a week and a half or so. We changed our vase's water daily. Overall, a very fun experience, but not quite budget friendly!

A fun place for all ages! Also great opportunity for some photos. We came on a Sunday at noon. It was busy but there's plenty of space we had no issues. So many gorgeous tulips and so many colors and varieties! We enjoyed picking some tulips to take home ($2.50 per tulip). They wrap them for you as well. I drove home over four hours and they remained in fantastic condition. Plenty of parking!

It was super busy on a Saturday so prepare for crowds. Beautiful flowers and picture spots would be great for spring photos. Admission 7$ and free parking if you want to pick the tulips you can pay 3$ per stem and they will cut and wrap a bouquet for you at the end. Really great for families or friends wanting to celebrate spring.

So amazing the windy was a little wild but the flowers were beautiful and there was a ton to choose from. Would recommend

Texas tulip farm is the largest tulip farm in texas. It's the prettiest farm in texas. This magical place is right here in Texas. Run by a Dutch family who migrated to Texas to start their tulip farm, this place is a flower-lovers haven. It will be open from February 24th until the end of the season, which is typically late March or early April. There is an entrance fee of 5$, which we pay by card or cash, and for veterans and seniors, it would be 7.50$. This price includes three tulip stems. For professional photographers, it would be 25$. Parking is free. Pets are not allowed in the field. Outside food is not allowed at Tulipsfarm. There are concession stands where you can buy snacks such as chips, candy, soda, and more. There are multiple port-a-restrooms right by the entrance to Texas Tulips. You are encouraged to pick the tulips (and you pay for what you like). Each stem would cost 2.50$. They will help your Tulip stems from being placed into a bouquet in a small plastic bag with flower gel. You then choose which color of tissue paper you'd like your stem to need to be wrapped up. Even if it hasn't rained, dress accordingly in shoes you don't mind getting dirt on! The ground is muddy. It is incredibly windy! Because of the wide-open space, Avoid short flowy dresses. Sunglasses are a must, or a hat protects your skin and eyes. Weekdays are the best time to find fewer crowds; On an hourly basis, visiting earlier in the afternoon is usually better to avoid crowds. Tip: Mid march is the best time to see all the tulips bloom.

My review is quite late but I've gone here twice in the past 2 years and loved it every time, just make sure you keep up with updates on the flowers to see if they're bloomed or not when you plan to visit!!

Nice activity for spring. It definitely gets busy and you will have to be creative to get your insta shot if that's what you come for. But if you just want to enjoy the flowers then you will. They have some varieties that I had not seen before and some interesting colors too. Entrance is $6 and each tulip is $2.50 which is kinda pricey. Overall I enjoyed my time here. Fun activity to do with your family or on a date. Only thing it could make it better is if they had any type of refreshments or food. There is plenty of parking.

Must go early in the Tulip Season! The really nice gentleman at the front gate told us that we should have come to two to three weeks ago. So very early March. Please check the website. We still found beautiful tulips and we still took some cute pictures. They do have a senior citizen discount for during the week and we took advantage of that as well. Porta potties are available and they do send you home with some flower gel so your flowers will not expire before you get home. Unless you have a really long drive. ;)

They are always good flowers during season time and in the fall they have a pumpkin patch as well which is great for family photos.

We had so much fun walking around the nursery and picking out the exact plants we wanted and now I get to see them in my front yard every day. Some of our neighbors use their landscape maintenance service and my goodness their yards look like manicured showpieces, whenever I'm ready to give up taking care of my own yard this will be who I use. I can't wait to see what the team at Blooming Colors will come up with when we re-design the pool and backyard area, so far every project has been such a great experience.

I've worked with landscapers before and usually you get a lot of talk and not a lot of follow through. This was different. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.
