I always get great service at this location . The tellers are friendly and efficient. I noticed an elderly man who was very upset about problems with his account . As he became more anxious and threatened to close his account, the female teller maintained her professionalism and calmly assured him that she would look into his situation and call him back. Since my last review, my experience here has been exceptional. The customer service from all staff is outstanding, especially the manager, Doris. My daughter and I both have accounts here and as we were running into some snags, she took the time to answer questions and assist. She is always extremely patient, friendly and very professional. I am considering moving my accounts at other institutions to Texas Trust (Cedar Hill location) because of her. The other Credit Union and banks don't have the same level/quality of customer service and they make frequent mistakes! My name is Ryan and I've been with Texas trust for years only because this is the account my dad set up when i was younger but i have to say im honestly ready for a new bank there is no way to deposit cash other than going in the bank but they are so slow when you do go then i couldn't put cash in the bank cause it was a Sunday i wake up at 8 on Monday to go put the money in before the overdraft fee cause i knew the bill was coming out i open up the app and now i have an overdraft fee how else can i put the money n if there is no way to deposit it other than in person then i called customer service to see about the over draft she was worried about selling me the bonus checking i have a student checking cause I'm a student but what are the perks with no overdraft protection and send me real check through Texas trust idk this is just not a good bank anymore read more

I suggest you avoid this credit union and banking institution. Texas Trust (TT) is all about raising fees and charges and they raid your account constantly. Several concerns. 1. You call your local branch and NO one answers, all calls go to a call center. 2. The call center is like all call centers, they are not authorized to resolve anything...they just explain the fees and charges. 3. All account issues are your fault. 4. They preach the company line to you and enforce it without a myriad of intolerance. I opened a credit card account and never received a statement. Not one. One time I went online and found a payment was due within days so I transferred the balance. Put the card away and did not use it again. Couple months later (I seldom used the institution) found a late fee and balance on my CC. Used their resources to examine past transactions and found discrepancies, massive fee for checks, and late fees. Called immediately and call center answered saying I had no access to local branch. My effort to at least attempt to correct the problem failed. I went online and attempted to transfer some funds to pay down the cc balance. It blocked all attempts in all amounts. Sent message through the website and my response was right out of the "screw the customer handbook" Went down to local branch and withdrew all but 100 bucks. Then I returned home and sent them message, close the account and transfer my 100 bucks to pay your bogus charges... I think I legitimately owe them $90. for charges on my cc but I'm certain they will crush my credit cause I'm not paying their fees and bogus charges. read more

Well, I have been a customer for around 30 years. And have to say that they were there a lot of times when needed. Untill this year when I fell in the Credit Union in Cedar Hill, Texas. I broke my arm and bruised my wrist and it wasn't pleasant. Long story short. They did not take care of me, Repeat they treated me badly, took no responsibility in it, ad top it off I had to get a Lawyer and they wouldn't settle. How's that for having a 30 year service . Its sad and I felt wronged. So my advice don't slip and fall or get hurt on there site. Because they will treat you like a leper and worse. I closed my account and will not have anything else to do with them. I wish I could of gave them 00000 on the rating. Oh little up date, my Lawyer got a good chunk of change. My husband initially opened his account when he was a teenager, so our account is over 30 years old. When he and I married, I kept my bank. However, the banking fees, ATM fees, and overdraft fees were taking a big bite out of my account. Eventually, I moved to Texas Trust with my husband where I have - no ATM fees with their ATMs, overdraft protection ($5 a transaction vs $25 from my old bank), financed 2 and refinanced 4 vehicles since they have lowest rates, and a personal loan (I think 2.5%) from when the AC went kaput. I used to spend a lot of bucks on paying bills with checks, envelopes, and stamps, but now I use online payments and it's perfect (there were some kinks that have since been worked out). When I call, I call the local branch since persons I speak to there seem to be considerably nicer than their general number. Mind you, in over 30 years, we've had some issues and the bank handled each one to my satisfaction including handling fraudulent charges and refunding fees (even at times when it was really my fault-chalk it up to ignorance). I love the phone app and I've made numerous electronic deposits by taking a picture of the check and send. The deposit shows in real time. Saves me the drive and time to deliver it in person. I am writing this post because I would like to shed light on how outdated the payment system is at this credit union. I've had an account with these guys for a few years. Until recently, if you didn't log into the system within 30 days your login information would change. This was crazy considering all the passwords and usernames most have to remember already. Then when I decided to put my account on auto pay in July, it happened to be a late discovery that I had missed my payment due on the 12th I set up Auto Pay so that this wouldn't happen again. I just looked at my statement and discovered that the auto payment in August was Late because It was drafted on the 28tb instead of the 12th. With any other auto pay system, payments are drafted on the due date NOT a month after your last late payment. I tried explaining this to a representative named Darion who didn't empathize. I asked to speak to a manager named Jose, same result. Now I'm waiting for a call from Nicole Sanders regarding a late fee removal. It's a courtesy I requested and the guys I've spoken to do not seem to care about customer happiness. They say they understood what happened but there's no loyalty for me having an account with these guys. Once the balance is paid off, I am closing this account. I will never refer anyone to them. read more

I have been a member of Texas Trust (formerly Vought Heritage CU) since 1989. Wait times to speak to a human being over the phone is unacceptable. Most recently, I called at 9am only to be placed on hold for 15 minutes, I was disconnected. Called back immediately and held for another 14 minutes. But after listening to the same music, I opted for their automated callback feature because it stated "to save my place in line" that was at 10:30am. I missed the callback at 11:50am. I called back to repeat the process again and left a different call back number. They returned my call at 12:29pm. The agent's attitude was less than concerned and seemed "put off" since all I wanted was to ask a question. Our conversation lasted 22 seconds. Geeze. read more
