So I made the decision to move from Lake Tahoe back to Frisco/ McKinney with my 3 small children. But now I was plagued with finding the right dentist. I have 3 very different individuals! But my main concern was my oldest. He is on the spectrum, battles ADHD and ODD- so he is a handful on his own. In the past, I have had doctors and dentists tell me that he needs to be sedated for the most basic things. I know this isnt true, you just have to find a good group who is passionate and has patience. Well... I found one! From the moment we walked in- the bright colors caught his eyes.. the tablets in the smaller room had his favorite game (kick the buddy) & I knew we were on to something. Now came the test... sitting in the chair with his head down. I promise the young lady was so kind and had so much patience, because we had about 67 questions before we even got started. She answered each one with complete thought. She even cracked some jokes with him. She got him comfortable and was able to get the exam, the cleaning and xrays done. This was the first time, we didn't cry! Then the dentist came In and he said- UNCLE ROBERT‍... no Mel. This was the first time he saw a doctor that was black and he was shook! Dr James was amazing. He was friendly. His bedside manners were amazing. It seems like he was training the young lady as he was giving her positive feedback when he started counting the teeth. Letting her know that he appreciated her knowledge and dept of what was going on. Long story short ( or not) No cavities and no tears! Sign me up for the long run! Oh and the other two were happy and content as well. They knew they didn't have any cavities and are looking forward to the tooth fairy! ‍ But over all 10/10 clean friendly professionals that are amazing . Thank you. read more

Long story short they missed my sons abscess tooth. They kept pushing for $1000 full sedation. My son did just laughing gas just fine. I have two insurances and after repeated attempts to even just put both insurance in the billing system they finally filed with both insurances, after a year. Over priced. I went to another dentist for a second opinion because I didn't understand what went wrong. My child got to cavities fixed with no issue. Went back and child had to get more teeth fixed, my child was ready. He went back and dentist said they could do it after he was already numbed with the big needle. I asked my kid and he said it still hurt a little bit. ( my child went thru the hard part, the needle) So I asked my kid what happened and he said it still hurt. So instead of figuring out what happened they said they should do it. So I got second opinion. Kid has abscess. Second dentist also charged a couple of HUNDREDS of dollar cheaper for SAME procedure. Texas Tiny Teeth in Frisco, TX is the best pediatric dental office that I have ever been to. Dr. James Slaughter III and his staff are very professional, friendly and patient. Before going to Texas Tiny Teeth my 6 year old was terrified to go to the dentist due to a bad experience at another dental office. But now, he loves going to the dentist. Within a couple of hours or less of my son getting silver crowns on his back molars, he was eating and playing. He wasn't complaining about being in pain nor did he have to take any pain medication. Dr. Slaughter and his staff are great with the children and are always available to answer any questions or concerns about the children dental care. This was our first visit at Texas Tiny Teeth due to our previous dentist dropping our insurance. We had a wonderful experience this morning! I had to bring all three of my girls (ages 6, almost 3, and 20 months). The entire staff was so patient with us even though we were quite loud. We had our own private room, which was a wonderful. Our dental tech, Brenda, was amazing with my girls! My older two were so interested in everything and literally up in her face asking questions; she was so kind to them! Dr. James was super patient with my kiddos and did a great job explaining everything to me and answering any questions I had. Our visit started on time and was pretty quick! My baby is 19mo and she had her very first dental visit here. They were so friendly at the front desk... we waited to be called back, it wasn't a long wait at all. After going in the back we met with the dentist, my little one was very antsy waiting for the dentist to come and they apologized for the wait (it wasn't long but with a small child it can seem that way when they are active). The dentist was gentle and explained thoroughly his practice and what we will be doing moving forward. Very excited to go back and to continue teaching my little one the importance of taking care of her teeth. We are happy with our experience so far. read more

I have found my pediatric dentist!!! Dr. Slaughter is truly awesome!!! I had a bad experience at another TTT location, so I was a little apprehensive about the scheduled visit. Dr. Slaughter was so nice and his bedside manner had my son very comfortable. He listened to my concerns and was very thorough about my son's treatment plan. Jocellyn(I think I'm spelling her name wrong.. sorry:) ), one of the dental assistants was super nice and made my son feel super comfortable. The whole experience was awesome from the front staff until check out. Glad I brought my son to Dr. Slaughter. Definitely worth the drive. read more

I have had a terrible experience with their customer service. They never inform their customers about the credit or refund in their account. Whenever I asked for a refund, they always assured me of sending the request to the accounting department. However, they never did and I never received the refund check. I tried calling them multiple times and even visited their office, but it has been more than three months now, and I still haven't received my refund. I would advise you not to go to this office as it seems like a scam. If the option allows me to give the stars, I will give it zero. read more

It is always a joy to come to Texas Tiny Teeth! From the environment, to the staff, to the service, Texas Tiny Teeth is wonderful all around. My 3 year old daughter has been coming here since she was 1and she always comes and leaves happy when we visit this place. Dr. Steward and Ava were fabulous! I brought both my kids (ages 6 & 8) for a joint visit. This was our first time and they were both a little nervous. Ava was very friendly and helpful to explain to me and both kids the areas that needed more focus and why it was important. Dr. Steward had a wonderful bedside manner with the kids and was great in addressing my potential concerns. This is my second visit here and I can honestly say this is the best pediatric dentistry that I have taken my kids to. Each time has been such a positive experience. The kids can watch videos laying down in the dentist chair and they immediately do everything to make your child comfortable as well as cheering them on the whole time!
