When I walked into the office to register, there was a nice welcome sign with the names of those who were checking in that day. Paper work was prepare and easily taken care of and our site was clean and tidy. Our site table was totally and un-usable she swapped it out without a fuss. The 'lake' was more a retaining pond but stocked with fish (they say). Dog run area was new, clean and ok. I would not make this a destination but it was great as a stop-over. We certainly would stay here again.

I really like how many hooks they have to hang your bags and clothing .. but for a room with 3 people - there's only a total of one chair in the room. Good thing I needed to sort some stuff out and wanted to lay down - but the other two roomies didn't... so no chair for one of them. Tiny mini fridge - didnt seem very cold. No adjustments - hope my stuff is still cold in the morning. No keurig/coffee maker/no microwave in room. But they did have free average coffee down stairs. Did not see any bugs of any kind. Overall clean hotel. Not smelly & sheets looked clean. Good price-would stay again. Update : the mini fridge wound up being ice cold! It was great overnight - and btw - we do not travel much (we are going to out of state wedding) ... our next town/hotel tonight ... is older and no where near as nice !! When I called back to schedule the shuttle I was told there were no more shuttles today. Say what?! I had them page the on call for Sun Travel. Shannon called me back and realized immediately this was an issue with a sense of urgency. She called me back in 5 minutes and had managed to drum up a shuttle driver who was going to be able to drive me from the airport in Port Arthur to Hobby Airport in Houston and get me to my newly reseduled flight on time. She was fast and very helpful. I was lucky to get someone like her to fix the unnecessary blunder that was caused by the operator at the answering service.
