    5lbs potato
    Michael K.

Food was good. I got a 5lbs potato which I guess would be described more as a bowl with a potato base and covered in bbq meats and Mac-n-cheese. I would of loved to see a. Here's sauce on the potato as once you got down into it it was a thick layer of potato. Price was $30. Also got a stuffed jalapeño. It was stuffed with brisket and cheese, stuffed into a jalapeño, wrapped in bacon then smoked. It was very good but was also on the verge of being to salty to eat.

Right off the bat I gotta say it's a bit on the pricey side but I will say it's worth it if you are serious about your BBQ. My score is more like a 4.8 for these guys. But a 2 meat combo is $33, and I understand that the meats are getting more expensive. But those meal deals include 2 sides ... cornbread is a dollar extra. I don't think the ribs are included in their meal deal plans (Combo meals) so I got the Brisket and Chicken meal deal and these ribs on the side. It was cheaper than boosting it up to a 3 meat meal deal. Sliced brisket looked INSANELY GOOD! Juicy, Shiny, Bark was thick, had a good marbling to it, smelled that pepper rub instantly. Flavor was excellent, bark was a bit tough for my liking but sometimes the bark kinda has to be like that to get that good texture and flavor for the meat. Meat was real soft and melted in the mouth real easy. Some of the better brisket I've ever had. Only thing I could have wanted a little bit of was more flavor located in the fat but it melted perfectly. Ribs came with little individual packets of Sweet Baby Ray's sauce which made me go "BOO!" I mean come on! But whatever. I got the 3 ribs. Heavily rubbed down with the nice red spices, good smoke ring, excellent amount of meat too, bones liked to fall off (not preferable but taste was still great). Rub leaned a little bit more to the sweet side rather than a salty, smokey, savory side and that's perfectly fine. Meat was a great smokey flavor and pork flavor was still there. I actually did throw a bit of the sweet baby rays on top of the rest of the ribs but that's just because I didn't have a drink and I needed it to go down a bit smoother. I know Im in the minority when I say this, I like a bit more of a saltier rub for my BBQ. Pulled Chicken. Menu just said "Chicken" so I assumed it was pulled which is usually is. Seasoned well, obviously cooked in a crock for a bit cause of the juicy and orange look. They say they get the boneless breasts and smoke them and then pull them. I could honestly taste that. It tasted like it was just boneless chicken breasts and not a nice mix of the rest of the chicken. But it was still a decent flavor. Just ... I like a mix of white, dark, skin infused flavor, slow smoked whole chicken taste. Apparently they have some stuffed jalapeno's they call "Texas Twinkies" and Im not a stuffed pepper fan but I would have grabbed one. Cornbread looked like a Twinkie from a distance. Just plain old cornbread mix, yellow cake style. Nothing crazy. Mac and Cheese was shell pasta with white cheddar cheese sauce, smelled and looked like Annie's style. Nothing great, just regular boiled pasta with a goop, at least it's White cheese goop though and not the orange stuff that always tastes like weird stuff. Cowboy Corn: Sweet Creamed Corn in a south west seasoning. Looks like roasted corn kernels tossed in a nice Chipotle mayo. Actually tasted pretty good. Tiny little heat kick that is countered with the sweetness of the corn. Potato Salad: Super yellow! Mostly mustard based, but it was sweet and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Light seasoning of maybe black pepper and oregano or some green leafy thing. Actually extremely enjoyable. Beans were loaded right to the top of the container. BBQ Baked Bean style, meaning they cook in BBQ sauce pretty much. Equal amount of sauce vs beans. Gravy didn't drip that much though so that is good in my book. Definitely some onions and maybe some garlic. Beans were cooked perfectly, flavor of bean was still there and the BBQ didn't kill the bean flavor. Pretty darn good BBQ and a contender for top BBQ joints in New England IMO.

ERIC!!! @ Texas Smoke Shack, you were telling NO lies! I am now and forever will be head over heals in love with you! You guys GO get this food into your belly! I posted the pictures in the order in which I peeled away the luscious layers of ribs, brisket, beans, cheese, baked potato, butter, and sour cream! The last picture is 1/3 of the food in the container! I find it hysterical that there was just one fork in the bag! Thank you again Eric! It was my absolute pleasure to meet/chat with you!

I actually placed two separate orders, through Toast and Door Dash (use credits & redeem a discount). On the Toast order, I got the Birria Ramen ($15 plus tax) and 1 Al Pastor Taco ($4 plus tax). On the DoorDash pickup order, I ordered 7 Tacos ($4 plus tax each) including 2 Chorizo, 2 Chicken, 2 Asada and 1 Al Pastor and got $8 off this order with a promo. The place was quite busy with plenty of Dashers stopping by to pickup delivery orders. I waited about 20 minutes for my orders to be ready. The Tacos were really good, which were filled with tender meats, cilantro & onions in warm soft corn tortillas, limes and verde salsa on the side. The birria ramen had soft thicker ramen noodles, consome, soft birria, onions, cilantro, cheese, and limes (on the side), which was hearty and filling. Overall, this taco trailer was a good find with tasty eats and conveniently located off I-495 Exit 67 and parked next to a dispensary near a busy shopping center.

Originally from Portland, Maine, the cousins later settled in Southern California. Impressed with the Los Angeles food truck industry, they decided to start selling Maine lobster in the L.A. area. Lobster was typically viewed as a pricey delicacy, only served in precious portions at fancy restaurants. The cousins saved up enough money to buy a food truck. East Coast transplants raved about the authenticity, freshness and the copious amount of meat in the lobster rolls. Their success really took off after they were featured on an episode of the TV series "Shark Tank". The brand expanded, more food trucks were bought, and the first brick & mortar location opened in West Hollywood in 2015. As of 2026, the chain has 65 food trucks and two restaurants throughout 30 states as well as Washington, D.C. I recently sampled some of Cousins Maine's delicious lobster when I saw one of their trucks at a local brewery. The "Greater Boston" truck travels all across Eastern Massachusetts to stop at breweries, wineries, and various markets and festivals. I had previously sampled food from the "Greater Connecticut" truck. The menu consists of items made from Maine lobsters, such as Maine Lobster Rolls, Connecticut Lobster Rolls, lobster quesadillas, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, as well as New England Clam Chowder. After looking over the menu, I decided to order some "Lobster Tacos" (Maine lobster served with cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro lime sauce, flour tortillas). They were simply divine and paired well with the beers that I was having at the brewery. I give Cousins Maine Lobster my seal of approval and I hope to see one of their trucks again!

Properly selected cheese complimented the flavor of the lobster. 2/10 Shrimp tacos were a joke, the shrimp was minuscule and tasted like they had been fried then sitting for days. I thought I was being pranked. I couldn't believe it. I wanted my money back for them. But didn't even bother. If they fix the shrimp the potential is there, not sure it's shrimp? Never seen or had shrimp like this before.

Called him on the phone to see why he never showed, and he claimed to have not written it in his book. He said this had never happened before and he would make it up to me. Ok fine, mistakes happen. Give him the benefit of the doubt and book him for our block party two weeks later. Because of the no show the first time I sent a confirmation email the day before the event and he confirms that he will be there. But once again, NO SHOW. We had kids in tears because we promised an ice cream truck and no one arrived. I am completely shocked that a business could be so unprofessional. Despite multiple confirmations and affirmations that he would be at two separate parties, he never showed. So two times in less than a month he was a no-show. I would suggest using a different company if you want the ice cream truck to actually come to your party. I would never have left this review if this were a one time event, but for it to happen to the same person two times is a trend. Obviously we will never use them again and I would warn people about using them too.
