I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. I only wish the best for her and look forward to seeing the growth of her business! If I ever have issues and need physical therapy or chiropracty again, I would definitely go to her again. Initially, I was leery of working with different therapists, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are all experts in how the body is supposed to work, and they know what it takes to get it to its maximum performance level. They function as a family, into which I felt welcomed from the start. Every time I walk in the door, someone greets me by name and asks how I'm feeling. They are warm and genuinely care about my whole being, which is yet another plus. During my session, I sometimes look around the room and marvel at how this group of young experts has kind, almost loving, yet professional relationships with their clients. And they work with people of all ages with effortless professionalism. The app is also amazing. I confessed that I'm guilty of not using the app regularly, so my expert for each PT session advises me of any changes they're making, new exercises they're adding, etc., so I will know to check the app to ensure I'm doing the exercises correctly with the recommended number of reps. If you need PT, don't deny yourself. Get the best. You deserve it. I recommend "my" location, which is on the Tollway adjacent to Methodist's Hospital for Surgery. I had surgery and a ton of hardware put in my leg. I was told that if I worked hard and got a good physical therapist, I had a decent chance of recovering most of my leg function back, but that it would be an uphill battle. I tried a different physical therapy place three times before deciding there was no way that they had the kind of approach I needed, as an athlete, to get where I needed to be. I found an article online where a patient said they traveled over an hour each way to go to Fyzical and I knew I had to give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did. Ben and AJ have helped me progress so far in just 3 short months. I couldn't even walk when I first started coming, now they have me doing lunges and mountain climbers. They know I want my former athletic function back so they tailor my sessions toward strength and conditioning for both my leg and the rest of my body. Their positive attitude always helps me believe I can recover and get past this awful injury. The front office staff (Karla and Dolores) are so nice and helpful, and make coming here pleasant. They told me that my insurance went through and I would pay $30 per visit. Excellent. So I started going for the next 2 months. Then I got a call from the receptionist saying that there was a mix up with my insurance number and that I actually have to pay a deductible of $90 per visit. And that I would be receiving a bill for the difference for the past 2 months! This has caused quite a problem for me and has substantially delayed my recovery. I'm not sure whose fault it is, it just really sucks.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and she has helped me tremendously in my recovery. Furthermore, the clinic is a fun place to be and everyone there has a great sense of humor. Disappointing to see such a good-intentioned doctor purposefully ripping people off . . . Dr…read more Dubrow is good at her job and deserves much respect for the dedication she has put toward her professional career. New patients receive a folder of paperwork to sign, one of the most important being a notice that Dr. Dubrow provides a far-advanced evaluation that seldom few doctors provide, and that while this is a tremendous benefit to her patients, insurance companies might not pay for it. I asked Dr. Dubrow about this when we were chatting at our first appointment and she advised that she legally cannot provide services to patients she has not first evaluated. This seemed very sensible to me, and knowing I had good insurance, I wasn't concerned moving forward. That is, until I got a bill for $262. What Dr. Dubrow fails to mention is the reason her "evaluation" is denied is because she bills under code 99205, which is a Level 5 severity code for MEDICAL DOCTORS, not for her PhD or DPT. Her licenses require her to bill under therapeutic codes, which I can only assume pay less hence why she avoids using them. When Dr. Dubrow contracted to be a provider under my insurance policy, one of the things she would have had to agree to, was to properly bill under the correct codes for her medical license. If she has issue with the rate she is paid, this is undoubtedly as issue she the right to take up with insurance carriers, but she has no right to put her patients, those she has dedicated her career to help, in the middle. It is unkind, and in my opinion, immoral.
