All of the dental assistants are very personable & friendly. They always made me feel welcome and comfortable during the process. They often do not have availability for my schedule which caused me to have an extended treatment because of wait times for getting appointments. FURTHER, after paying the significant sum out of pocket (and aligned with documented insurance claims information), I was told that I owe another relatively significant amount due to no coverage of one tooth which does NOT align with the documented insurance claims, EOB, and info on the insurance website--more than one claim for that one tooth was approved with no OOP to insured. Further told "it's a you problem." Well, according to the insurance company's information on their website and what has been provided to me, it is NOT a me problem, it's a PDA problem, along with many other systemic problems that have deteriorated their service over the past year or so. It's pretty alarming when you have patients who have stuck with you for 30 years and are now deciding to jump ship, especially for an essentially commoditized service.

When I first came to Echeverri Dental Center, I had many concerns. I had already seen three different dentists who did not feel comfortable performing Daniel's dental treatment under anesthesia in their own clinics and recommended that Daniel have the procedure done under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. That recommendation led me to Dr. Saba. From the very beginning, Dr. Saba made me feel confident and comfortable. He met with me twice before the procedure, took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything, and gave me the reassurance I needed to know that Daniel was in the right hands. Daniel had his dental surgery at Texas Children's Hospital on May 13th, and everything went successfully. Before the surgery, during the procedure, and throughout his recovery, Dr. Saba continued to provide support, reassurance, and excellent care. As a mother, the most important thing is knowing your child is safe, and Dr. Saba truly gave me that peace of mind. I also want to give a special thank you to Alicia for all the amazing work she did behind the scenes coordinating everything with Texas Children's Hospital and making sure the entire process went smoothly. A big thank you as well to Gloria and Elizabeth, RDA, Dr. Saba's assistants, for their kindness, patience, support, and dedication throughout Daniel's journey. Thank you Dr. Saba, Alicia, Gloria, Elizabeth, and the entire team for your professionalism, compassion, and for treating Daniel with so much care. We are truly grateful for everything you did for our family. I highly recommend this office!

Misleading Consultation: Despite my husbands limited English proficiency, he was coerced by the dentist that he needed a root canal, presenting it as a 'normal and simple" procedure.  Poor Execution: The dentist failed to properly perform the root canal, leaving metal remnants in my husband's gums which led to serious complications.  Financial Burden: Correcting this mistake has already cost us $3000 to have the root canal retreated by a competent medical professional, and the medical ordeal is far from over

One thing they don't tell you about orthodontics is that your face shape changes! My face got more narrow and my jaw became a little smaller. I was very pleased seeing the before and after. I recommend Invisalign even if your teeth appear straight because bite changes will result in structural face changes as well! The office is well staffed, emails are replied to quickly, and Dr. Tabakman is very thorough and comes up with a good plan. He will tell you how much time you need and as with all Invisalign providers, there are always refinements. This is not a negative to the office, but it is the drawback to using Invisalign since the trays are predicted 24 months in advance. Your teeth are stronger than the plastic trays so don't expect it to perfectly match to the forecast or what the trays look like! Houston Orthodontic Specialists has good discounts depending on the time of the year. In 2021, I paid 4.5k for 24 months of Invisalign (refiners extended it by 6 months, with no charge). It came with a retainer included in the package.

I can't recommend this dental office enough!…read more My children have been seeing Dr. Harpavat since my oldest was just 2 years old. After we moved to Sienna, I tried taking them to a local pediatric dentist for convenience. That visit was a huge disappointment--they recommended multiple fillings and other procedures for my daughter that didn't seem right. I decided to drive the 30+ minutes back to this office, and I've never looked back. Dr. Harpavat is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and conservative in her approach. She never recommends unnecessary treatment and always takes the time to explain her recommendations. As a parent, that gives me tremendous peace of mind. Even more impressive, my kids actually love going to the dentist! I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. As a microbiologist and scientist myself, I value evidence-based, ethical healthcare providers. I trust Dr. Harpavat completely with my children's dental care. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. They are knowledgeable, ethical, conservative in the best way, and genuinely care about their patients. Even though we now live in Sienna, it's absolutely worth the drive to continue seeing them. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for outstanding dental care for both children and adults.

The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. Scroll down to the other one-star review…read more I had an identical experience. Everything seems fine until you have a complaint, at which point you either get ignored like the other reviewer or, in my case, asked to leave the office. Let me share my experience with them. I began by spending a significant amount on my invisible aligners. No one informed me that once I completed this process, I would need an additional set of easy invisible aligners for nighttime for the rest of my life! I was never told that the invisible aligners I paid thousands for, which i had 24/7 for a year, wouldn't actually straighten my teeth and that I would need a wire stick to my teeth for the rest of my life. Only a few months after installing the wire it broke. I called the clinic to report that the wire had broken just a few months into treatment and that I needed a replacement, I wasn't told I would have to pay $350 I to fix it. No one warned me about this fee, despite their claims to the contrary. (I told the lady that the call should be recorded and she can listen to it and see that nobody ever told me about the fee before arriving to the appointmen). Just to clarify, the only reason I had to get the wire instolled is that the original invisible aligners failed to straighten my teeth. After requesting to speak with the doctor several times, she finally came accusing me of being dramatic and loud (which I take fully responsibility for I did lost my patient in respond to the rudeness of the other workers) and asking me to leave the office, stating she wouldn't address the issue at that moment. I am extremely disappointed. It feels like they withhold crucial information from their patients to extract more money from them later, and once patients catch on to their methods, they avoid them. it sure feels like they take advantage on the fact that you've paid upfront and now you committed to the process unless you want to change a doctor and then you will pay again. I wish I would've read the one star review before. at this point I'm waiting for them to get back with me so I can get my wire fixed. I will keep you posted on what happened. Scroll down to see their respond on how they're not taking responsibility how great their customer service is and how much it's all my fault.

When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. My husband made a comment to me about how he didn't believe our daughter had cavaties and it just seems like they are trying to shake us down. So while on vacation we took our daughter to a dentist and guess what....they told us she didn't have any cavaties. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.
