Hello Scott, I've been waiting for months for you to finish my fencing project. You have not responded to me since October 9th and you have been paid 100%. Scott did a new fence back in July 2023. He moved it in a good 2-3 feet without discussingit with me, essentially giving it to my back neighbor. One end is ugh, I can't even describe it and the other end from being move up 2-3 allowed my dogs to get out which is why I got a new fence. Scott said he could either move it back (like it should have been to start with or add a gate so I could mow. I have seen either or Scott. His crew also took a cattle panel that he said he would bring back. Haven't seen that either.

I engaged a few fence companies for 150 Ft. wrap around wooden fence, with a 25 Ft cyclone dog run. After discussing with Scott I immediately made the decision to go with Texan Fence Enterprises LLC. The fence was installed within 1 week of our first conversation at a competitive price with excellent craftsmanship. Working with Scott at Texan Fence Enterprises LLC (TXNFNC) has been an absolute pleasure. His crew is professional and most importantly they actually care for and take care of your property. I had the best experience with my 150 ft fence and dog run for my beach house. The work was completed within 24 hours of starting the project. Once the job was complete the site was cleaned up better than when the crew arrived. There we absolutely no nails to be found on the ground, perhaps more impressive was that the nails in the fence were done in a very precise manner that makes them almost hidden from sight. You have to walk up to the fence and strain you eyes to find the nails that hold the fence together. Scott assured me there would be no gaps below the fence, and he came through on that commitment. My dogs will enjoy the yard and my wife and I can rest easy knowing there are no escape routes for them, no gaps whatsoever. Upon completion of our fence Texan Fence Enterprises LLC conducted a full inspection and ensured my complete satisfaction with the work that was conducted. Working with TXNFNC was an outstanding experience and I will fully recommend Scott and his crew with no hesitation whatsoever. This will be the only company I consider for the fence at my primary residence when that fence needs to eventually be replaced. Thanks for an outstanding experience and a beautiful fence

We absolutely love our new fence. The fence is beautiful, sturdy, and well done.We got a cedar cap on it and its money well spent. Scott was extremely prompt in every appointment. He answered all our questions thoroughly and kept a close eye on his crew. His crew worked quick and efficiently and finished the entire fence and drive gate in less than 2 weeks! We would absolutely recommend him!

Holes left unfilled after they replaced a striker plate.

This is probably the worst company I have dealt with. They don't return calls, finish work they started, stole a socket and didn't give us out referral fee. If you are looking for professionalism and service after the sale, this is NOT the company for you. STAY AWAY FROM SCOTT ROEDER AND HIS COMPANY!!!!

Rudy sold his services as a General Contractor but didn't do anything to actually manage the project other than organize some subcontractors. I had to PM most of it myself. He passed on his subcontractors' pricing without ever questioning it. He brought down his quotes several thousand dollars after I called different things into question. He did nothing to educate me on things that needed to be done such as sealing the marble tiles on the shower floor. I spent $25k on a bathroom renovation and the shower floor looks like crap after just a few weeks. Spare yourself and hire a different contractor! Who knows what it'll cost me now to fix it, but it won't be with Rudy.

In any business, I expect complete transparency and they have fallen short on that. If my husband didn't pay attention to details, we wouldn't have known they had given us materials different from what we had actually ordered. If we didn't call them out on it, they probably would've never told us about it either. Another thing is, when they sent us a quote, it included removal of the carpets. When I told them that we had already removed the carpets and staples, they still did not adjust the price. They came back and just said that the original quote was already "discounted". They never mentioned which one was discounted from the previous quote. We asked them about it and nothing specific was being said about which item was actually "discounted". Again, a flaw in the communication chain. On the day of installation, even though the installers did a good job, it would've helped a lot of one of them can actually speak and understand English. They had the radio blaring. I had asked them to turn it down but I don't think they even understood what I'm saying. My husband works from home and is having conference calls all day and I'm homeschooling my kids while I'm working on my desk. And these guys doesn't seem to mind talking loudly to each other and crank up their radio. To the owner, please look into this as not all the residents you service are Spanish-speaking. I didn't want to ruffle feathers and didn't want them to take it out on me and do a poor job if I call them out, so I sent my kids outside. It's a hassle, to say the least. As much as I hate giving this kind of review and rating, I'm also obligated to speak out the truth as it is. And I hope positive changes will come out of this review.

TCB demoed and totally remodeled the original bathroom. Gutted it all, repaired, and replaced the rotten floor, re-sheetrocked, all new plumbing and electrical and painted. For an incredible price. TCB has done a complete kitchen restoration for us, including more rotten floors and neglected plumbing. They installed beautiful cabinets, Butcher Block counters, Saltillo tile floors, and a beautiful back splash. They installed new vinyl flooring throughout the house and again repaired more structural damage to the sub floors. They also have done a complete buildout for a new metal building we had installed in place of the garage, turning it into a workable shop. These guys know what they are doing, the quality of work is exceptional, and they work with you and your budget. Hands down, the best contractors in town!

This included removing the old roofing, decking, ridge beam and rafters; reframing the roof, hurricane strapping, re-decking and laying on a new Timberline roof. Overall, I couldn't be happier. Their crew was out bright and early a few days BEFORE what I was expecting (based on what was specified in the contract), and by the end of the first day, all the roofing and decking had been removed, picked up and was ready for disposal. The second day was miserable - rain on and off - and bless their hearts, instead of getting out of the rain, they stayed up on our workshop spreading a huge tarp I had over our belongings so they would not get wet, THEN they got themselves out of the weather. This, in my opinion, was "over and above" what I expected - especially when they did this several times that day. The third day was much better, and for the rest of the week - clear skies and a lot of work. By that Friday I had a new, stronger roof structure installed and decked out. Saturday, the cornice crew came out and trimmed out everything, installing new Hardee board soffits and fascia and the following Monday the roofers installed our new roof. They laid approximately 16-17 squares, and stayed with the job that day till it was completed. Tuesday was some minor clean-up, a final inspection and close-out. Would I hire them again? Most definitely - as a matter of fact, here's my comments on the second job John did for me . . . Job Date: 8/10/2012 Project cost: $9,000.00 Description of work: This was the second phase of our workshop rebuild. In this part, John's crew stripped the old siding and storm sheathing off my workshop's walls, installed new storm sheathing, Tyvek house wrap, trim and Hardie-Plank siding. They finished up by painting the workshop to match our house. My workshop was pretty much ruined during Hurricane Ike (6' floodwaters). I had started some remodeling and repair work shortly before the hurricane hit. I was removing old weathered T-111 siding, removing windows, reframing and installing new OSB storm sheathing. About half of the structure was in the new OSB storm sheathing when the storm hit. Unfortunately, due to the massive amount of damage sustained to our house, my workshop had to wait till now. By the time I was in a position to rebuild my workshop, all the "storm-chasers" and transient carpenters had moved on to other projects, and construction contractors were somewhat harder to find. I had recently heard about "Angie's List" and decided to give it a try - this is where I found John's "Green Leaf Contracting" company. John's crew restored my workshop in two phases. First phase, which I've already reported on, consisted of rebuilding our roof structure and installing a new 50 year Timberline roof. This last phase involved stripping all the remaining old siding and storm sheathing down to the wall studs, installing all new storm sheathing, wrapping the entire structure in "house-wrap" moisture barrier, installing Hardie-Plank lap siding and painting the entire workshop. What was nice about this phase was we had some concerns about leaving open areas in the walls overnight (vandalism). I expressed these concerns and John's crew made sure the building was secure every evening before leaving the job site. As with any construction job, there is always going to be some clean-up afterwards and his crew did what I thought was an exceptional job of cleaning up. I had jokingly referred to my workshop rebuild as my "Sow's ear to Silk Purse Project". John's crews really did pull it off!
