(I'll try to add a photo of the gate after this review). Multiple emails, text messages, phone calls to Lonestar Fence and Construction over multiple weeks have been ignored. A final walkthrough has not been performed. When they finished construction, one of the partners went through our neighbor's yard to jump the fence and find me in the backyard. I knew they were coming by that same day of completion to collect but never furnished a time. My comments about the quality of the workmanship to one of the partners were ignored.

They did not think twice about driving up this way on more than one occasion to meet with me, answer my questions, measure, and install my fence and gates. My lot sits high up a hill and slopes down to a lake. This was not an ordinary installation, and yet Tim's Fences made it seem "routine." Very professional, very punctual, and exactly the type of service that (in my opinion) the competition is lacking. Joe (in the office), Tim (the owner), and German (the installer) and his crew have excellent communication skills and are obviously proud of what they do / the company / the product. I also like that they take credit cards, because I enjoy building up my rewards points even though I pay my credit card statement in full when it arrives. Would I recommend Tim's? Absolutely! Original Review: Our neighbor hired this company to do fencing so one side of our fence was done by them due to the whole "good neighbor fencing" thing. They were "super busy" - which Andrew will tell you every time you call - so they sub-contracted out the work and never sent anyone from the company to check on the work. They only came to pick up the check. There are several holes in the fence and the side that we share with our neighbor has several panels that are leaning. This fence was done in September. It's now March and Andrew keeps promising someone will come out and we're on his to do list and he hasn't forgotten us, but they've been super busy. They got their money and aren't standing by "their" work. Additional Information: I originally gave them a 1 star review here, on Google and on NextDoor and WITHIN AN HOUR of these reviews going up we had a phone call asking what the company could do to fix the problem. They asked us to take down our reviews "in good faith" that they would come fix everything and make it right. In our opinion, they had 5 months of good faith from us where we didn't blast them online or report them to the Better Business Bureau, the League City Chamber of Commerce or the State of Texas so we told them the reviews would be staying up, but that we would be will to update the reviews once the work was done. They pulled workers off of other jobs (sorry to whoever's jobs they had to pull workers from and therefore probably slow down those jobs) to get the work done the very next day. They were here almost an entire day to get everything done. They had to replace several posts, rot boards, pickets, etc. in different places along the fence. Everything they fixed looks great. The installers put the pickets up even though they were damaged and did not advise me beforehand. After I checked it, I found this damaged material. I contacted Brandon the owner and he told me that Lowe's would replace the damaged pickets. However title will not repair the fence without additional costs to me. Installing damaged goods should be repaired by the company, not by me, I didn't do it. They did and they were well aware of the problem as they were installing the damaged material. I was advised to contact the foreman who in charge for a price to repair my BRAND NEW FENCE. Additionally, the debris from post hole digging was left on my property, pushed underneath the fence and into my bushes. I find it very disgusting that they did not clean up after themselves. Anybody that hires this company needs to be sure that they watch them like a Hawk and make sure that they clean up after themselves. I would never hire them again.

There are multiple nails and screws visibly protruding from the fence, which I brought to the contractor's attention. I also have concerns about the overall construction and finishing of the fence. I contacted the contractor several times about these issues, and they said they would come out to make the necessary repairs, but they never did. I understand that wood fencing can have some natural variation, but I expected the installation to be properly finished and the contractor to stand behind their work when concerns were raised. Based on my experience, I would recommend carefully inspecting the completed work and confirming how the contractor handles warranty or repair issues before hiring them.

I observed his crew on camera mowing on a riding mower after attempting to cut with a push mower on very low (twice). Not only was my yard scalped during the hottest time of the summer, the crew damaged my irrigation system. I asked Mike to come and repair the system, but that never happened. I always paid in advance and because I had a $40 credit I asked him to just fix the irrigation system and have his crew skip the last cut and just trim the hedges and clean the flowerbeds. I have yet to see or hear from Mike since. I consider the $40 for him to keep it as a Blessing since he introduced himself to me as a Christian. So he can pass the $40 that I paid him for no service to someone else or keep it for himself.

Truly remarkable work--it is the best fence job I have ever seen, and I looked a lot before trying to find the right company. Before this project, I used to believe that you could never get the level of quality you want unless you do it yourself. Not after I hired Webster Construction!!!! I Had Specific Needs For My Situation The lot-sizes in my neighborhood are small, and the folks behind me have a pool, so the sound from their parties always invaded my family's privacy! For this reason, I wanted the new fence to be very tall, and double-sided to help diminish the sound. Also, I a different neighbor replaced the side fence last summer, and he painted it with a sealant stain. I wanted everything to match, so I wanted the new fencing to also be painted. And because I wanted it all to last a long time, I wanted it painted on both sides. Webster Construction Was Happy To Customize! Right off the bat, Mike (owner) was happy to give me whatever customizations I wanted. I talked to another "only fence" company, and they're only interested in quickest/fastest to get the most fences done asap to help their bottom line. My only options with them was the height, no option to do screws (which last longer) no option to paint, nothing. Webster Construction was much much more accommodating! Webster Construction = Quality, Quality, Quality!!!!!!! The company owner came each day to make sure everything was going as I wanted. Also, there was a family member that was working with the crew the whole time to make sure everything was done perfectly. He also really cared about the workers and made sure they had a canopy to work under when the heat was so intense. It was very rare for him to leave the crew by themselves; it was just to get supplies and he was back quickly (usually under 30 minutes). When he got back, he always checked back over everything that the crew did when he was not there, just to make sure it was done with the upmost quality. He personally measured each post hole to make sure the posts were down 3 feet--often using at least 2 1/2 bags of quickcrete. He personally set each post to make sure they were level and facing the right way. They were cautious with my backyard drains to make sure no concrete got in them (which could plugt them). Regarding the framing, if something split, he would pull it out and replace it. They used 3" construction screws to make sure everything was super solid. It was the same level of quality carpentry that you would get with cabinets. When putting on the pickets, they even drilled pilot holes to make sure they would not split. Because I wanted pickets on both sides to help dampen the sound, they came up with the idea to make sure they started laying pickets on opposite sides of the fence so you can see no cracks between the pickets. Even with stain sealing, over time the heat will cause the pickets to shrink a little, but the way they put them on, I won't see a neighbor on the other side. Honestly, it felt like he was working on his own fence and truly cared about the work! Amazing Price Especially With All The Customizations The price was unbelievably reasonable as well, considering all that I wanted done. The "fence only" company wanted even more money to do much less! Webster Construction used the best materials! I inspected the lumber and it was truly top shelf quality! Amazing Quality Despite the Heat! Because of the height I wanted, with pickets on both sides, and stain sealing, they told me up front it would take 2 days. And they spent the full two days. I never felt like they rushed to finish. The yard was spotless when they finished, and they even leveled dirt on the bottom to make sure everything was perfect! Will Hire Again! I can't say enough about their work quality! I will definitely use them for future work!
