Actually the order from the other never came in and we finally just cancelled the order. So we are given a date for the carpet to arrive at Carpet one...... didn't happen. Installation was postponed for weeks later. They scheduled the installation for 10 am. We moved all of our furniture off the carpet stuffing bathrooms and kitchen with furniture. On the very day of scheduled installation and right at 10 a.m. they call to postpone for the next. I went into the store to make my feelings heard. They then agreed to show up a couple of hours later. They removed the old carpet and pad and only installed the new pad, leaving us with exposed tack strips and our furniture still stacked up. Absolutely not what we were expecting. This is only three rooms! I'm guessing that it wasn't enough of a job to apply full effort at it. Until tomorrow or possibly even later we will be enjoying our freshly laid padding and tack strips. Thank Carpet none.

Myself, and my 85 year old father pulled the carpet, removed the carpet pad, and moved one piece of furniture. We had two fans ourselves (one being industrial) that we put in the area, and then called Tobin. They came and supplied a dehumidifier and a couple of fans. Tobin stated that it would be around 900 dollars. Which seemed reasonable because we handled most of the hard items. The following week, the dollar amount was paid in full, and the fans were removed. My father then received a phone call stating that what was just part of the amount. They wanted $2200.00 more! They stated they have two separate departments. One that tears down and one that puts it back together. This is not agreed upon verbally. Then claiming there are two separate departments when this was NOT communicated upon arrival at the house. Their invoicing practice is fraudulent and dishonest. I will NEVER use them again for any business. I recommend ANYONE ELSE in Idaho Falls. Don't bother having the owner respond to this review. Update: Tobin's owner visited homeowner and reduced the bill.

In the past, I've worked with contractors who made me go to suppliers and purchase the materials for them. That's a big project for people like me who have no idea what they're doing and asking for! I LOVED picking out options with them, then they did the rest. Hassle free, stress free and most importantly good quality work done EXACTLY when they said it would be done. They finished the projects ahead of schedule and work with our changing timelines. Bonnie, pays up close attention to minor details & has them fixed before problems even became noticeable. That's something I appreciate so much. Ryan, took so much of his time taking phone calls and answering questions/or giving me his advice on which products are best. The project was quick, we purchased the house and didn't spend much time in it. We knew we wanted certain things done initially, but as time went on and we spent more time in the house, we added many projects on top of the original requests. Never once did they become irritated or difficult. They took on everything with grace & gave us our dream house! Thank you Golden Arrow!

Why she…read morehad thought it was okay to store paint in our master bedroom is a different story, but living with two large dogs and two small children should tell you the consequence of my painter's poor decision: a half gallon of paint poured directly onto our brand new carpet (only two weeks old). Fortunately, Medalist Cleaners responded fast. They told me to drop a damp/wet towel on the mess and wait for them to suck it clean with their industrial wet-vac. They arrived about an hour later and went to work. 30 minutes after that, they had the paint completely sucked up. The fellow doing the cleaning asked me to check it for my satisfaction and I got in there and really rubbed my fingers and palms down into the carpet and padding. My hands came away looking clean, though closer inspection reviewed a very tiny, almost invisible residue in the cracks of my hands. I asked them to give it a second cleaning and the fellow obliged. The next time I ran fingers through the carpet, they came away clean. Nice job! Medalist Cleaners came fast and helped us in an emergency. I would use them again.

I had a old door I wanted to use in a remodel, but needed a new door jamb to make it work. After hitting dead ends several times in my search for a company that could build a door jamb around this door, another door company suggested I check with Quality Door & Millwork. So, I gave them a quick call and to my astonishment, they said if i dropped the door off today, it would be ready tomorrow.....the last place quoted me 2-weeks and noted they couldn't guarantee it would fit with exactness and i would likely have to make some tweaks to make it fit the door. I quickly jumped in my truck and drove to Quality Door & Millwork. Luke, helped me unload it and took my information. When he learned I live an hours drive away, he asked if I had a couple of errands I could run, because he would be happy to build the jamb immediately, so I wouldn't have to drive 2-hours round trip to pick it up tomorrow. Wow! Yes, I will do that! I told him I was looking for some other wood products, which Quality Door didn't carry and he gave me a suggestion for another store and they had exactly what I needed. I picked up some lunch and my new door jamb was ready within an hour! I realize they may not always be able to offer turnaround time at this rate of speed, but the fact that Luke went out of his way to save me a 2-hour drive means a lot. The door jamb is perfect, the pricing was competitive, the turnaround time was amazing, and the customer service was the best I have experienced in years! Give them a try!

Obtaining concrete work during Covid years and post Covid years has been a hard thing to…read moreaccomplish. So we were delighted that we got on the schedule of Everlasting Construction and that they were very professional. We got on their list four months before concrete could be laid in our area and we were not first on their list. Several others were before us. However, when concrete could be poured in our area they set a date and they came when they said they would come. This to me is the sign of a very good contractor! From the initial layout through the final concrete pour they showed professionalism and willingness to make sure we got the patio we wanted. Someone told us that most people never pour as much concrete as they find they need, learning this need for extra concrete space after the work is done. So we made sure our patio and a separate shed pad were a good size. Even then we needed to have more concrete added to our shed pad and they fit us in before the sod was laid. As to the quality...other contractors we used for the landscaping told us just how great a job they did during the layout and pour. When the concrete had thirty days cure on it I again sought their help in what concrete sealer to use and where to buy it. Weston was very helpful and pleased I wanted to seal his great work. Definitely if you need concrete work done I would use Everlasting Construction. Their work is superb, they follow their scheduling promised, and their pricing is comparable to other contractors in our area.

When other landscapers came after the pouring of these patios, one landscaper came to build a pergola on the larger patio, one to build a shed on the smaller patio, and one to lay all the sod, trees, etc. - they all stated these two patios were some of the best they'd seen. Smooth, properly tilted, easy to deal with (and to build upon) - was a unanimous opinion. Well, admittedly, to us it was just a concrete patio(s), and though we were definitely pleased, we asked for more thoughts - why the exuberance? The answer was: "You don't see concrete patios laid this nicely. Some of them are totally wacko and hard to deal with." So, definitely five stars. Not only did we like the work, other outdoor builders and the landscaper (lawn) praised the work as well.
