I had one room I knew would be particularly challenging with residue from years of old wallpaper and cracks in the ceiling. Jamie knew how to mud it properly, smoothed everything out, and with the new paint job it's now the most beautiful room in our home. He was willing to take on other miscellaneous tasks outside of painting too like removing old telephone jacks and repairing baseboards. Communication with Jamie was easy and prompt, and I felt like the quote he gave us was reasonable for such a huge job. They truly went above and beyond in every way. Actually the order from the other never came in and we finally just cancelled the order. So we are given a date for the carpet to arrive at Carpet one...... didn't happen. Installation was postponed for weeks later. They scheduled the installation for 10 am. We moved all of our furniture off the carpet stuffing bathrooms and kitchen with furniture. On the very day of scheduled installation and right at 10 a.m. they call to postpone for the next. I went into the store to make my feelings heard. They then agreed to show up a couple of hours later. They removed the old carpet and pad and only installed the new pad, leaving us with exposed tack strips and our furniture still stacked up. Absolutely not what we were expecting. This is only three rooms! I'm guessing that it wasn't enough of a job to apply full effort at it. Until tomorrow or possibly even later we will be enjoying our freshly laid padding and tack strips. Thank Carpet none.
