I love that Dr. Nordman can be my baby's pediatrician too! I met with some of the other providers too and they are also fantastic.

He was thorough, friendly, and genuinely interested in my medical care. Today, I called his office, to follow up on some new medication we had discussed at my annual. His RN/Medical Assistant relayed the message to him and BEFORE the end of the day, my prescription was filled exactly as discussed. My care here has exceeded all expectations. This practice is a "5 STAR" group, I recommend to all my Rexburg friends.

They had me come in for a non stress test. They remembered that I had been in the day before and listened to my concerns. I plan to leave a full review of my experience after I have my baby, but so far, they have been great!

For a while, even though we no longer live in Rexburg, we made the drive from Idaho Falls for a long time just because no one cares like Dr. Hopkin. We lived in Burley for a while and I did not find one provider that could care less about me. So even then, I'd plan trips to see family around when I could also see Doc if I needed to. He's so considerate and funny! He makes the awkward things less awkward (like my very first pap/mammogram). I was pretty sad that he no longer does baby deliveries like he used to. He was even the first one to suspect my mom's first brain tumor. She'd been to several doctors asking about her vertigo, etc. But Doc made her go get an MRI which showed the tumor. His discovering it allowed her another 2 years of life. Most of which was fairly normal, considering. The only reason we don't go now is because we have new insurance through my husband's job and Doc is out of network. That being said, sometimes we go to him anyway to get answers if we think our regular doctors aren't taking us seriously enough. On top of it all, Dre, the receptionist, has been there for years and she has always been wonderful.

One of the great benefits of an urgent care is not requiring an appointment before coming in. Accidents and illnesses don't make an appointment, so this is one of the most convenient medical care options I know. Because Rexburg is a small town and they keep a fairly consistent staff, I've never felt like I've received poor continuity of care ever. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've come here for just about everything I've had. The staff really does put patient care first. They are very understanding with billing and never rude. They set up great payment at the time of service as well. They just re-decorated the office and it looks very professional and clean. There is plenty of room to bring a family in and not feel like you're shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of sickies. Quality establishment.

Based on a number of experiences with Dr. Hopkin, his methods are questionable, including his approach to providing medical advice and/or prescription medication. His practice makes patients uncomfortable, and violates (what I believe to be) fair medical practice. Upon further review, Dr. Hopkin's medical history indicates he is unable to practice in hospitals. I wonder why?
