At the door when this placed was supposed to be opened. We could clearly see a receptionist through the window. It was 12 degrees outside, we waited a few minutes and called their number. The lady hits a button on the phone and it goes straight to voicemail. We couldn't wait outside with our 2 year old little girl in the weather so we headed to the emergency room instead. I HAVE to write a positive review after my experience today. I'm staying with family (I live out of state) and my two year was having some health issues. We took him in and the nurses and physical assistant were amazing, way better than our family doctor at home. The PA gave medical advise that was so spot on that it will probably change our sons life forever. The PA was willing to be patient and talk about everything I had observed as the mother and he was in no rush! Usually our pediatrician wouldn't look up from the screen and try to be done in 5 minutes but it was so different here!! I can't express my gratitude enough for willing to take the time to care and really get the bottom of a diagnosis! Rexburg people, do not under appreciate this place and the staff! read more

Community Care is an urgent care clinic on main street. We've lived in east idaho for years and treat this as our Primary Care location. One of the great benefits of an urgent care is not requiring an appointment before coming in. Accidents and illnesses don't make an appointment, so this is one of the most convenient medical care options I know. Because Rexburg is a small town and they keep a fairly consistent staff, I've never felt like I've received poor continuity of care ever. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've come here for just about everything I've had. The staff really does put patient care first. They are very understanding with billing and never rude. They set up great payment at the time of service as well. They just re-decorated the office and it looks very professional and clean. There is plenty of room to bring a family in and not feel like you're shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of sickies. Quality establishment. read more

I recently had some blood work done for some inflammatory problems I have been having. The doctor said that he would call me tomorrow and let me know what the results said. A whole week went by before I heard anything back. The doctor ended up prescribing antibiotics that I did not need which I had already bought and begun taking. When I asked the ladies up front to send me an electronic copy of my forms, they said "we don't know how to do that". Unimpressed and dissatisfied with the service from doctors, and receptionist staff. I have chosen a different clinic for check ups and was gladly surprised that they knew how to prescribe medicine, email test results and were significantly cheaper! I would recommend looking at different options before attending this clinic. read more

I've gone to community care in Rexburg for over 10 years now and always received exceptional service. The waiting time is not too long and the nurses and doctors are very friendly and care about your well being. I definitely recommend going here and will continue to go here while living in Rexburg. This place sucks we went today to get help for my roomate who was feeling ill and they said "sorry can't help ya go to the hospital" I was extremely frustrated and confused on why they couldn't help if that's there freaking job. Pathetic. First off, they are insanely expensive. We went in and asked if insurance would cover an x-ray. They said they called and insurance would. A month later, we are stuck with a huge $600 bill. Ridiculous. On top of that, one of the nurses has temper tantrums, just like my 3 year old! Grow up, lady! And nonstop talking bad about patients. It's like high school all over again. read more

Extremely frustrating experience! My son went in for a mandatory Department of Transportation physical needed for his job. Just a routine physical. First, they refused to take our insurance, which pays for physicals, and is one of the dominant insurances in our demographic, DMBA. They said they couldn't bill a sports physical, nor a DOT physical through insurance??? The cost for the physical was $151. My friend went a few blocks down the road to Dr. White (across the street from Broulims in a white stone building) and was charged exactly half of what I paid! He was charged $75 for the exact same physical & form being signed. When I called Community Care to explore why they are charging double for an identical service, they were incredibly rude and told me I was "threatening them" to reduce the price. VERY poor service & follow through, rude front desk and double the price! I will never go there again, and will advise all I know to go elsewhere. read more
