He's so considerate and funny! He makes the awkward things less awkward (like my very first pap/mammogram). I was pretty sad that he no longer does baby deliveries like he used to. He was even the first one to suspect my mom's first brain tumor. She'd been to several doctors asking about her vertigo, etc. But Doc made her go get an MRI which showed the tumor. His discovering it allowed her another 2 years of life. Most of which was fairly normal, considering. The only reason we don't go now is because we have new insurance through my husband's job and Doc is out of network. That being said, sometimes we go to him anyway to get answers if we think our regular doctors aren't taking us seriously enough. On top of it all, Dre, the receptionist, has been there for years and she has always been wonderful.

Based on a number of experiences with Dr. Hopkin, his methods are questionable, including his approach to providing medical advice and/or prescription medication. His practice makes patients uncomfortable, and violates (what I believe to be) fair medical practice. Upon further review, Dr. Hopkin's medical history indicates he is unable to practice in hospitals. I wonder why?

My husband was unconscious while this idiot was telling him how he was going to have a long talk about drinking. My husband laid unconscious in that hospital for 2 days, was given enough drugs to sedate a horse, but no tests. On day 3, we insisted he be taken to EIRMC to be seen by a real doctor. My husband died a month later of a brain infection. They counted 18 lesions on his brain. What is interesting is, Lofgran's nurse told me, it looked like an infection while this quack was lecturing about drinking beer. One other thing, the morning we had Tim moved to a real doctor, this "playboy" was showing off for a new intern. I wouldn't ever let this so called doctor touch anyone who was actually sick. He might do well as a clown for birthday parties. Rating? There isn't one low enough in my opinion.
