I just wasn't sure where to start, and how to push through the challenges I knew were inevitable. Joan made a plan and guided me through every step. It wasn't easy but Joan had prepared me for that. I didn't feel uncertain about what we were doing. Along with her experience and wisdom in all things sleep, Joan has such a calm and reassuring demeanor, so you feel incredibly supported through the whole experience. We caught up twice a week on zoom to check in Joan uses a gentle approach which I loved. It took about 4 weeks for my daughter to get to the point where I can put her in the crib 100% awake and she takes herself off to sleep without assistance. The first 5 days/nights were pretty intense, but it's amazing how quickly my little one was able to learn how to sleep by herself, and now at a reasonable hour! Thank you for everything, Joan! Doctor Ikedilo was my OBGYN for my second pregnancy…read more For my first pregnancy, I went to a different OBGYN. I didn't enjoy my experience...I saw my doctor 3 times in 9 months and never saw her for my 6 week checkup after birth. The atmosphere was cold and I just felt like another number, not a person over there. I didn't want to experience that again for my second pregnancy so I searched for someone with good reviews and Dr. Ikedilo came up. First let me say, the difference between my first pregnancy and second pregnancy OB-visits, were night and day. The office and staff were nice. They were never rude and cold over the entire 9 months. I saw Dr. Ikedilo consistently all throughout my entire pregnancy. I only had 4 visits with an NP which is funny because for my first pregnancy, the NP was practically my Doctor since I never really saw my actual Doctor and saw my NP at almost every appointment and even at my 6 week postpartum checkup. With Dr. Ikedilo I felt like a person who mattered and not just a number who they needed to hurry up and get in and then get out. It was nice that she remembered me every time and that I didn't feel like a stranger. She was always nice, warm, sweet and friendly. She was easy to talk to. Her attitude was always pleasant and I just felt that she was a genuinely caring Doctor. The waits were usually pretty stable, maybe 15 min and sometimes longer but whenever there was a super long wait, they would be fully aware and make me aware and they'd sincerely apologize. Offices were clean and well organized. When I went into labor saw, Dr. Ikedilo was the in call delivering doctor that night at the hospital. I was very thankful because I had always wished my own doctor could deliver my baby. Well my wish came true & God heard the secret prayer hidden in my heart. Dr. Ikedilo came to say hello to my husband and I when we got admitted. She delivered my baby 5 hours after I arrived at the hospital and she was amazing in the delivery room. She put me at ease with her calm and peaceful demeanor. It was so relieving to have a familiar face during such vulnerable and intense time. When It was time to push, she allowed me to push at my own pace when I felt like pushing. She was patient and gentle and even through all my pain (and screaming lol) she really kept me calm inside and made me feel like I could endure through it all just by her calm, cool, kind and caring demeanor. After about 10minutes of pushing, the baby was born. My husband said from his point of view, he saw that she really knew how to smoothly handle everything down there and he thought the way she delivered the baby was beautifully done and she did it very smoothly. She communicated with me everything that she was doing right after. She talked to me and made me feel comfortable. Our first experience delivering our first born was the complete opposite with a Doctor we didn't know. The whole delivery was traumatic so this time around we were just experiencing something so vastly different and were amazed. The nurse in triage, the nurse in the delivery room, and the nurse in postpartum all expressed how much they loved Dr. Ikedilo and how they thought she was super sweet. My postpartum nurse told me she ran into Dr. Ikedilo after she was supposed to be off her shift but found out she had stayed to deliver my baby. That really made my day and says about about her. I felt so so grateful and just thought "wow, what an amazing doctor!" She didn't have to go out of her way and stay to deliver my baby after a super long exhausting shift. I had my 6 week postpartum checkup today and Doctor Ikedilo was once again her warm, friendly, and sweet self. She did my checkup with ease, it went very smoothly and afterwards she even came to see my new baby and say hello to my husband, she honestly feels like family with how nice she is. It's not just me who feels she's great, even my husband said he wished he knew her outside of being my doctor because she has the same joy filled personality as his mom which is comforting since she's so far away. I'm genuinely grateful for her and I'd say she's the best doctor I've had. I'd highly recommend her!!

Yes, he is a very busy doctor and the wait time is a bit long at times, but omg I'd wait all day long to see him because he is simply the best. And he is only so busy because he's just that good and he gets a lot of patients, and those patients refer their friends to him and he gets even more patients. That's why he is so busy, which I totally understand. My friend referred me to him, for example, and now I'm a loyal patient. I had caught a really bad infection and was admitted into the hospital after I had my 2nd daughter, and he took really good care of me. Always checked on me, and did all he could to get me home to my newborn daughter. Dr. Dan went above and beyond in my eyes and I will always be grateful for him. I very highly recommend him, and will always be a patient of his.

He is truly one of the rudest people I have ever met and I cried in the car out of frustration after every single prenatal appointment I had (and for anyone who has ever been pregnant you know there are a lot of them). He was rude about my weight gain (literally saying, and I quote, "wow you are really packing on the pounds, aren't you?"), dismissed all of my questions, interrupted me mid-question to answer the questions he thought I was asking (spoiler: it wasn't what I was asking) and I had to learn to advocate for myself more than anyone should have to do with their medical provider. He was rude to his office staff and one time came into my appointment and said, "These people are driving me crazy." He also told me none of the other doctors in his network were anywhere near as good of doctors as he is, but that they would "get the job done" if I happened to go into labor when he wasn't on call. However, I suppose it was lucky that he was on call when I went into labor because the Clovis Community Hospital staff were negligent and I almost didn't get my epidural in time due to nobody checking on me for literal hours while I waited in triage. So luckily Dr Dan used his pompous rudeness for good to be completely unkind to the hospital staff so that something was actually accomplished. We moved out of the state two months after my son was born and the sub-standard care we received both by Dr Dan and the hospital were the last straw for getting us out of the state. It is mind blowing that such a rude human being is not only a practicing PREGNANT LADY doctor, but that he is the only one recommended in the entire county. So I suppose that if you have to give birth in Fresno go with this guy, but just know that he is rude, disrespectful and in a lot of ways just truly the worst.

Fast forward, I had 2 perfect babies under his care (37 and 38 years old), 2 excellent C-sections, and support postpartum. I got to see him at every check-up, each being a minimal wait. Dr. Dave listened and gave just the right amount of information. He sent me to specialists at different offices when needed, even as a "just in case."
