I read these reviews a day prior to picking up my Model 3. I was very apprehensive due to the negative comments. I walked in not knowing what to expect. I went to a table where an employee was on a laptop. I told her what I was doing there and she went to the back to find me a person on the "delivery team". A short amount of time an employee named, Yvonne came out and introduced herself. She started working on my paperwork and told me my car was being sent to the detail shop on site. (I had shown up an hour early to my scheduled appointment time) I waited in the lounge area for around 45 minutes. During this wait, several other employees walked up to me and asked me if I'd been helped. They, like every dealership, had complimentary coffee, soda, and bottled water. After I waited, Yvonne came and checked on me and told me my car was almost done getting detailed. I walked around the outside of the dealership and saw that my car was finishing getting detailed. About 10 minutes later my car was outside, with my plates on it, and spotless. I looked over the car, she answered some questions I had, and it was painless. The service manager even came out and answered a question for me. We went in, did the 5 minutes worth of paperwork and app setup. I really don't understand all the bad reviews. I am pretty hard to please and my experience was very good. I was there for approx. 1.5 hours. Part of that wait was likely because I showed up early. I've waited at regular dealerships three times that long. Everyone was courteous and professional. I would 100% go there again for a vehicle. Ignore the bad reviews. read more

We came here prepared to purchase. Nobody greeted us. After a while one woman asked us why we were there. I said we wanted to purchase a Tesla however we don't know anything about them. She pointed to a red car and told us to go sit in it. There was no explanation or anyone to tell us about the car, we just sat in it. Several minutes later we got out. Another man then approached us and told us to go sit in a different car outside, but he said it was sold. Again we sat in the car not knowing what to do. Customer service does not exist at this location. I purchased a vehicle 4 weeks ago and I no one will call me. I've been in multiple times and have been promised a phone call. It's been crickets! Cannot believe the lack of customer care. Also, I waited at the location over half an hour for someone to tell me that I could not purchase a charger bc the service department person went home. Don't waste your time at this location. You're better off driving to the Naperville/lisle location. They are only interested in selling Teslas at which point they treat you magnificently. Once you've purchased the vehicle - their customer service is horrendous. All they do is complain about how busy they are and they always greet you with an attitude as if they're doing you a favor. Inefficient and no interest to work is the likely reason they feel they are too busy. No communication or customer service skills. They don't respect an appointment and make you wait as they take their time with walk-ins. Even if you are on time for a scheduled appointment they'll simply take your car and park it in the back in their parking lot. The service visit is only half an hour and they claim they need the entire day to complete the work. They have staff prioritize new vehicle delivery over customers they have already sold vehicles to. Don't bother and spend your valuable time at a different location where they appreciate and value you as a loyal customer. read more

I came to test drive Tesla, all the employees were very nice and patient and answered many questions we wanted to ask, and asked if we wanted to try other cars, except for the bald male salesperson, whose name I don't know. After we tested the car, we gave the key back to him. He said that we can test what car we want to buy only, and he emphasized it twice, and said that we can't test drive for fun. My brother wants to buy Model Y, so I came to try it and give him advice, and try other cars casually. He gave me an interesting day, and his attitude made me not go to him even if I wanted to buy Tesla. read more

No business card of a sales representative, no direct line, no email, and no full name. Phoning them is hopeless. I dialed 6 times but got rerouted in different directions before getting cut off. I bought my Tesla here, there isn't any one there that can help you understand the car, they don't know. When I picked up my car the girl who was training on my car had only been there for 30 days, didn't understand much about the car, when I asked to get some help to in servicing me on the vehicle no one was there to help, so frustrating!!!! From picking up a new car in June to September car been in service 5-6x. Picking up the car everything "meets standard specs" then getting a paint chip done.... sorry that's the best we can do because we're not a body shop. Then remote service 3x for same front trunk issue...... still waiting for service to fix the issue front trunk issue. I just want to enjoy my brand new car but it's just not getting the service it needs. Especially I live 3hrs from a service center. read more

I was in town from Minnesota for 2 weeks for work. I also have family in the area. When I met with them, they know my love for Tesla. My cousin and his son wanted to go on a test drive. It was a Saturday night when we came up with the test drive idea. Tesla was already closed. I went online to try to book a test drive for Monday evening which was the only night that worked for them. You couldn't book an appointment for Monday online so I decided to call them Monday morning when they opened to see if it was possible to get in. I tried originally to get into Schaumburg but they didn't return my call right away and didn't answer the phone. I called Westmont and they answered the phone and were happy to schedule me for a Model Y test drive with my family. We all had a great time. It was a good experience, I can't wait to be able to buy my own. Alverne was very good at explaining things. Thanks for getting us in. read more

These guys are available 24/7 when you're buying a car. Soon as you sign on the dotted line you're nothing to them. Non-existent support. Good luck getting in touch with anyone over the phone for help. Every menu option directs you to the app. Only way to talk to someone is if you choose the menu option to "buy/try" a vehicle. And if you think that's your way in to talk to someone for help, they'll just put you on indefinite hold till you hang up. read more

Wonderful experience. While we purchased our vehicle in the excitement of the end of 2018, and at the end of the day on a Saturday, they made time for us (without an appointment) and test drive a car...signed paperwork and were so happy to have an email in just over a week that our TESLA was scheduled to be delivered in a couple weeks. We've had a couple issues, but each time, TESLA has stepped up and resolved them with class. Service is good, people are nice, manager Matt was supposed to call me twice and has not. The drive train on my 2013 Model S failed two years ago. It was replaced under warranty. The replacement failed after 2 years and 3 months. Tesla charged me $8,200. Matt was supposed to get some if not all this money refunded. Now he is ghosting me and you cannot call Tesla Corporate. To address Summer F below - Who waits years for their Model 3 and has no clue how to charge it? No one. Futher, after you put a deposit down, Tesla sends you a link to their video instructs, can download the Manual, and there's a huge section on charging. Went to the Tesla dealership in Westmont looking to purchase a Model X which was the only one they had to sell in inventory which was their demo or test drive vehicle. The experience was the worst ever at a dealership with the exception of the gentleman who tried to assist us. He let us test drive the car and we were ready to discuss terms (negotiate) since the car had 3,000 plus miles on it. The gentleman tried to help going back and forth to the Manager who came out gave us a verbal price nothing in writing that was more expensive then if we had ordered a 2020 on online ourselves and this Model X was a 2019! I was disappointed to say the least. I felt like the Manager did not want to speak with me gave me his final price and walked back to some office in the back. My wife and I waited from someone to come back and talk with us and no one ever came out so we left! For being a luxury car dealership the lobby is cold esthetically and cold temperature wise. Took delivery February 2020 of my Model 3 Performance. Alvin was very patient and explained everything I needed to know. Spent almost an hour making sure I understood how the car worked, charged, and could be personalized. He helped set up my phone connection, contacts, seats, windows, keys, and the app. The paperwork took only about 5 minutes. Mike, from sales, was excellent as well. He helped me decide which model to was for me. He gave me personal attention and allowed me to contact him multiple times with my questions. I came home with a welt on my head from the falcon door closing on top of me when approaching the car. Called on a Saturday around 11:30am to set up a test drive for later that day. Within minutes I had an appointment set up for 2pm and a confirmation email. The dealership/store/space, whatever you want to call it, was clean and very modern in appearance. I was greeted by Jevon(spelling?) and he checked me in quickly, and got me out to the vehicle within minutes. Jevon was very knowledgeable about the Tesla brand, and every question I had, he had an answer. Also the other staff there were friendly as well. We took delivery of our new Model 3 from Mujahid. This is our first electric car, so we really appreciated Muhaid's attention to detail as he explained all the features and charging processes. Unfortunately we couldn't complete all the paper work during our visit, so Mujahid delivered the car to our house the next day and went over the car again with us. This location is a HUGE disappointment. DO NOT GO HERE. Picked up my new/used car Saturday and there was absolutely zero prep work before the final sale. It was dirty, had warranty covered issues that, if the car was inspected before I got there could/should have been fixed. The customer service at this location is terrible. I was basically told they were not willing to fix anything, and I would have to figure it out on my own once I purchased the car. The salesman tried to help but it's a problem with the location not the sales rep. Tesla makes a great car so not knocking the product just this specific Westmont location. probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My wife and I have purchased 2 cars from this location. Our first car came with license plates registered to the wrong car after we spent 8 hours in their delivery area while they tried to find our car on delivery day.We're now on month 5 of trying to get in touch with a human to sort out a license plate issue they caused with the second car. Prior to buying our second car, I took my wife to the dealership to see if she wanted a Model Y. The unprofessional/rude employee working at the store said we should "make it quick" as he wanted to close soon. I was going to trade my daily driver in for a Tesla. After this experience I opted against it. We've had great experiences with the paint/body shop in Elk Grove. read more
