Unless you are the first to arrive, you will probably be unable to use the charging station. There are some crafty solutions available though. There are 120V plugs lining three concrete poles of the Beard Parking garage, and students/visitors should be able to use those regular 120V outlets on those poles to maintain sufficient charge. You just need to bring your own 120V car charger. Otherwise, you can probably charge your car at USF without issues after 5pm in every location except outside the Marshall Student Center (MSC). The spots designated for charging cars outside the MSC are sometimes used by gasoline-powered cars, so you may not have a space to charge your car! If you have that issue when Parking enforcement is closed, just call the USF police and they should send enforcement over because it's illegal for gas cars to park in an EV charging station parking spot. I cite Florida Statute 366.94(3) in these situations, and that allows me an opportunity at those parking spots or some alternative. Some people just don't care when they park near the MSC, and they park their big truck or nice corvette in those spots during the day! Remember, knowledge is power on your side! You will need a Charge Point card to swipe or a debit/ credit card with RFID chip, or a phone with NFC and payment capabilities such as Android, Apple, or Google pay. Even though the charge station is FREE to use, they require this in order to unlock and remove the hand held charging plug. They will pend a $1 charge on your credit card just to verify it is active, but it will drop off after about 3 days. This station offers 2 parking spaces, but only 1 plug, a j1772 plug, which fits most EV's. I used the NFC on my phone and the plug released and was ready for my use, it was a quick and simple process. Sometimes I have seen this parking lot very full, but I have not ever seen anyone with a non-electric car parked in the 2 spaces. Maybe this is also a reason they were placed near the rear corner of the parking lot. This parking lot also has vending machines with soda pop's and snacks as well as snacks, and his and her restrooms, and is open 24/7/365. The lot also has 2 huge screens that display all current flights, so you can easily watch for a flights landing time and location, either red or blue side of the airport.

Halei front desk check in, her vibrant, beautiful, bright, charming, glowing loving personality needs to be on display. I would hate to see that she has moved on to another position the next time I visit but it will be well deserved. This young lady is the epitome of how you are supposed to treat people when they check into a hotel. Looking at all of the check-in people that Saturday, I was glad it was her. There was something about her energy that I was just loving. Listening to her. Take care of the person in front of us. Ayu Guest Services, although there was not a lot that she did to professionalism was definitely attentive and with a glowing smile. At this point I had already had my birthday cake surprise waiting for us when we got back to the room Saturday night, but just that one extra smile made me feel like an appreciated customer. I only regret I couldn't tip everyone that I mentioned $100 each, but believe me when I tell you that might definitely be the ongoing goal the next time I visit. This place is amazing. I didn't know if JW Marriott Turnberry and Aventura down in Miami could ever be beaten. Tampa Water Street definitely gives them a run for their money and customer service.

After a few minutes, two young girls joined me in the sauna. After 15 minutes of a non stop conversation between them- ai left the sauna. I went to lay down in the quite area in the lounge. One girl was sleeping next to me and then another girl walked in, her while speaking on her phone on the speaker. Later she got a call and were talking so loud that another guest told her to stop. There were no spa employees around complain. The jacuzzi had MANY carpenter ants. I did enjoy the massage but not necessarily can say you get the value for what you pay.

The market takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. There was live music, so many vendors selling gorgeous dresses, local produce, jewelry, and so much more. I fell in love with the cutest handmade seashell jewelry from the Shell + Stone's pop-up tent (she also runs a shop online). I ended up picking out a few rings, and the owner was actually running a 27% off sale for St. Pete's 727 Day. Stumbling upon this market was the perfect surprise to kickstart my Saturday morning. I love that parking is easy and accessible too. I definitely have some more exploring to do at Midtown, so I can't wait to stop by again soon.
