Product: Exactly what you'd expect at this chain---auto fluids, accessories, and parts. It is well-stocked with the most common items. (3 stars) Service: Very average, and what you'd expect. The employees here have some basic knowledge of vehicles, and are decently competent. (3 stars) Facilities: Like most other Autozone locations, it is a stand-alone brick-and-mortar with a private lot for parking, right off the main roadway here. It is clean. (3 stars) Overall: There's no surprises here. You get what you expect---nothing more or less. (3 stars)

BRING YOUR TOOLS. I…read moreshowed up to check it out, and boy oh boy (yeah, that's an expression), is this placed organized! First off, you can actually check for the car / parts on their website. I've gone to another junk yard, and it can be a hit or miss b/c their selection is definitely "smaller" and there's no real accountability on their items. 2) It's organized like I said earlier. There are rows of neatly stacked up cars sectioned off by import or domestic cars. 3) Every car sits about 2 to 3 feet high so you don't need to jack up the car. If you needed to get the springs or shocks for example, it's as easy as it will ever be. Trust me. Lastly, the parking lot is immaculate. Seriously, immaculate. Plus when you walk in, it feels like an Advance Auto Part store with two cashier like registries on the right side (one to check for parts and the second to check your tools and pay the $2 entry fee). And yes, the entry fee is worth it for $2 (and I'm super cheap). BTW, when you do check out, the other side of the check-in point has the actual cash register (i.e. 3 of these) to allow you to pay for their items. Just to illustrate how popular they are, when I arrived on a Wednesday morning about 9:30am, there were 4 sets of people in line with a few others already inside their massively organized "junk" yard. Good stuff. So....bring your tools b/c you'll pull the part yourself so that you can enjoy the plethora of "goods."

It is convenient to the French Quarter, but an Uber or the guys who the park recommends to take you from point A to point B can be quite expensive, especially if you have pets you need to check in during the day. I would recommend trying to find a spot in the quarter or CBD on spothero.com Much cheaper than the other options. Not sure but it seems like a lot of the occupants are long term renters which is great because it makes the park nice and quiet. The grass needed a good cutting as did the dog park, but the park itself seemed to be well maintained even though I could see where the drive from the interstate to the park could make you want to turn around and go the other way...please note there are quite a few Sticker burrs in the grass that I would have to pick out of my dog's fur after walking them in the grass. After a certain hour, a code is needed to access the gate which adds to the security at the park. The park is clean, convenient to the quarter, and convenient to the grocery. I would stay here again.

I even acquired Christmas presents here the year when everyone's stocking received a car emergency window hammer with seat belt cutter (one of those gizmos that if after an accident, you can't open a car door or escape from your seat belt, the tool will save the day and probably your life).

Their multiple…read morelocations around the Greater New Orleans area helped accommodate me as I drove all over the place getting dirty. Now that I've ended that chapter, and purchased a new car, I decided it was time to reevaluate my carwash situation. Since I live in Midcity near City Park, I decided to try Soft Touch Carwash out of convenience. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Not only are the auto carwash options and results excellent, the added options of quick handwash, quick detailing packages, and high-end detailing make this place a must for anyone who cares about their vehicle's care. Today, I opted for the $40 handwash, and added the interior leather conditioning treatment. It was done in a very reasonable amount of time while I waited in their comfortable lobby. My car left there looking sharp and smelling like new. In addition to their excellent work, the service was outstanding. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was very respectful, helpful, and friendly. I suspect that the owner (who I had the pleasure of speaking with for awhile) cultivates this environment intentionally. Whether you need a quick wash in the auto-tunnel, or a bit more personalized care, you can't go wrong with Soft Touch.
