Rather than risk leaving the vehicle unattended, I called Ethan Auto Mobile Towing Aid for fuel delivery service. They answered promptly, took my location information, and gave me an estimate before dispatching a driver. The driver arrived within the timeframe I was given and brought enough fuel to get me safely back on the road. What I appreciated most was how straightforward the entire process was. He explained the cost before adding any fuel, there were no surprise fees, and the final amount matched what I had been told on the phone. The 5 star reviews don't lie! After reading others' reviews, I decided to give South Bay Auto…read moreCollision a try and I couldn't be happier. I had an issue with the undercarriage of my Tesla M3. The bottom framing was starting to fall apart and I could hear it dragging on the road as I drove. I called last Wednesday morning to see if I could stop by for a quote as I was nearby. The front desk said yes. I drove up and Chris saw me and took a look at my car and knew immediately what part needed to be replaced. He showed me a print out of the part that he would be ordering as well as the price for the parts and labor. The breakdown of the pricing for both parts and labor were clear and I also felt that pricing was fair so I decided to proceed without a second opinion. (To be fair, this work is fairly simple.) Chris explained that he would be ordering the parts and then when it arrived, he would call me to schedule a time that I could bring the car back for the repair. He estimated the parts would arrive in 2-3 business days. (I did pay for the parts upfront.) Chris called me the following day to tell me that apparently Tesla has increased the price of the part I needed and he further explained that if he ordered it for me, Tesla was going to charge a $200 shipping fee. He recommended that I buy the part myself from Tesla service center and pick it up to avoid the $200 shipping fee. He explained exactly the part that I needed ("front aero shield") and how much it would cost from Tesla. I did a quick search online about ordering parts from Tesla and how to find the correct part. It didn't take much longer than 15 minutes before I had the part ordered. Tesla sent me a confirmation a few minutes later that I could go and pick it up. Picking up the part at Tesla was easy too. Then I called Chris back once I had picked up the part and he told me that I could go in the following day (Friday) at 9am (also convenient time for me) so he could repair it for me. He told me it would take about an hour. I show up on Friday on time, and Chris is ready. They got it done in about 30 minutes and charged me for 30 minutes of labor. They refunded me the difference for the extra I paid (since I had prepaid the part) and I already see it credited to my card. Overall, they were very easy to work with and communication was perfect. I had a fairly simple problem and they solved it for me within a matter of 3 days. I also very much appreciate Chris saving me $200 shipping fees. These are some honest people that I would love to do business with again when it's needed... nobody wants car troubles of course, but I am glad these guys are around if I need their help.

My engine light suddenly came on a few days ago and then the engine started to make a funny noise…read more Due to a combination of a crazy schedule and having been frustrated with my most recent experiences with local dealerships, I decided to try out Mobile Mechanic. It's one of the best decisions I have made this year. Will was able to come out with a day or so and run a diagnostics check, quickly locating the issue and showing me the results. He explained to me what the issue was, discussed options, gave me a full quote and a price - highly competitive. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. Aside from the convenience and Will just being an incredibly nice guy, his attention to detail and service are second to none. Friendly and knowledgable, he works hard to make sure you understand what he's doing, and is professional and polite at every step along the way. Will clearly cares and takes great pride in what he does. He's the only person I will be going to for my automotive service needs from now on. Highly recommended.
