My vehicle's max. charging speed on DC charger is 54kW and I was under impression (though I could be mistaken) that I would charge close to that here, but it hovered to less than 30kW while charging (somewhere between 25-26kW actually).

I talked to the owner who was very nice but ultimately just told me the KWh price, which was higher than what I found listed on a few apps before I chose this place. My bad for not calling and finding out the pricing details, but also I've never found the apps to be so far off before.

Our mission is to expand the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to decrease “range anxiety” by providing drivers with more charging choices, giving local businesses and property owners a shot at preparing for future demands, and increasing charging availability in all communities. Located…read moreimmediately adjacent to I-94 and about 100 miles west of Detroit, it's fine for a stop to recharge. There is a gas station / convenience store as well as a Denny's Diner within a block. Also a Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton Inn if you're thinking of sticking around overnight. Both the gas station and the Denny's have wifi, but I'm not sure if they reach to the superchargers. There are a couple of trees, but not a whole lot of cover or shade. JW guided me through the entire process, from advice on what charger items to purchase through Tesla, the actual installation, information and set up for Ann Arbor EV charger inspection and information on DTE energy programs and rebates. Super thorough! He and his team are the best in the field. They specialize in EV charger installation so are incredibly knowledgeable with anything related to the matter. The entire process was super easy and went smoothly. Plus incredibly friendly and professional. On a side note, it has been super convenient to have the home EV charger. Much nicer than having to drive out to a supercharger station on a regular basis. The convenience factor, DTE rebate program and energy saving programs offset any installation cost (which was good to begin with, especially with this high level of expertise and quality result). This has been the best investment this year. Highly recommend. Thanks JW and team!
