It runs 250kwh max and is consistently charging from 10% to 90% in about 35 mins. I've visited 7-8 times now. I got 90 days free SC with my car purchase. It charges faster than the Supercharger on Park (it's like 150-200 mph 150kwh max) does. Park location is always full and there were 10 cars waiting in line last time I was there. It's been pretty easy to just pull up and plug in here though. I guess MS is a little slow to adopt the EV, much like education, car insurance coverage, and things like, regular dentist visits & various general hygiene opportunities. Bonus!!! Milano's Pizza is across from it and the SC are actually in a Burger King parking lot. There are plenty of other walkable spots to visit as you add the electricity to your ride. Abbay's, Lowe's, Red Hook, just to name a few. Pretty soon the entire world of EV's will be charging here.

I figured I needed to update this review…read more... They have done a complete overhaul of this station and now my old review no longer applies. This location has been updated with new Superchargers that all run faster, are cleaner, and there are twice as many as there were before. It is now up to standard of all other local Tesla Supercharger locations. It charges at blistering rates and the new hardware is great!! One note... as of 3-20-24 this station showed as "offline" on my cars map. I am not sure why. It was working. '24 - 23/100

For about 10 years we stuck to airBnbs only, past year given the outr fees/taxes etc , we have started staying in hotels again (at least you get points/rewards) Last year this hotel, our room was unfortunately not clean, so they immediately swapped us. No biggie. It happens. This trip room 209 was 85$ before taxes. Plenty of parking when we checked in around 8pm on Tuesday evening. I will say the woman who works that shift (same lady as last year) lacked any real customer service or personality. She seemed annoyed to check us in. However the older white woman the next morning was so outgoing and friendly, it evened out haha Breakfast was good. Bagels, cream cheese, pretty tasty sausage, decent coffee. Quite nice actually. The TV was wonky, we had to point the remote control behind the TV haha and eventually it worked. Beds both were VERY comfortable and quiet. All 3, we slept very well. Room service however shouldn't be knocking 2 hours prior to check-out, when we had the don't disturb sign. They were rude and unfriendly. Bathroom unfortunately only had 2 towels for 3 people and could use some updating. However it was a safe, cozy sleep. We still enjoy BW hotels. Many food options about a block behind the hotel. Wendy's, McD, KFC etc

They have a buffet and they have a couple of other restaurants that you can buy food from here at this location. I am used to going to casinos in California in Nevada, but not here in Arkansas. I was very impressed at how kind the staff was when we arrived. Everybody was customer service, friendly, and really wanted to make you feel like you were a valued guest. The ladies at the players club were professional about signing us all up because I came with a group. The machines are clean and they aren't sticky, which is a plus at a casino. I also thought that the dealers all looked very professional in they were ready and waiting for customers to sit down for games. There were so many pretty lights in the casino and it really highlighted the gaming floor. They have a hotel here, which is impressive. One of the negative things that I found out about was the bathrooms in the casino. When I walked in, there was a stench and stale smell of old urine. It seems that the cleaning person had just mopped the floor and had used an old mop because it smelled like old stale urine. I was so frustrated about this that, when I got outside of the restroom, I double and tripled wiped my shoes on the casino carpet just to get that smell out of the soles. Overall, this is a nice casino. I just had a couple of issues with not winning and the smelly bathroom floor.

The casino floor was grand--definitely gave Vegas vibes--with a lot of options. Even on a busy weekend night, it never felt claustrophobic like other places I've been. Now, the main reason I visited Southland was for the buffet--and man, it was amazing. I sat there for over an hour enjoying fresh, hot, delicious food. The buffet was very well put together: clean, well-staffed, and full of great hospitality. Southland Casino Resort literally has everything you need for a great experience. Plus, being only about 10 minutes from downtown Memphis gave my partner and me even more places to explore. We can't wait to visit again soon.
