We were able to limp into Forest City, AR and found an RV park for the night. (This was January 1, 2026.) The next day, I checked a reputable local company that told me we wouldn't be able to find anyone to work on our unit until Monday. I Googled for truck repair near me and the first place that popped up was Lytel Truck Repair. The review were generally good (should have been GREAT) so I drove over in the car I was towing and checked them out. It was bare bones, but I like what they said, so I limped over there with my motorhome. They were GREAT! Chuck (the owner) was super accommodating, and I could tell that he knew what he was talking about. He and his crew spent the better part of a day working on our motorhome. Long story (above) short: they were WONDERFUL!! They knew what they were doing, they did it well and got us back on the road again for a very reasonable price. They ran a diagnostic and it was transmission problems. As soon as we arrived at the shop, they were both so welcoming and made sure our two dogs and 5 children were taken care of. They gave us food and water for my dogs. Mike had local contacts that he knew that could get you taken care of. It was almost 9pm and they offered to drop us (family of 7 n 2 dogs off at our hotel that they recommended in the area and even took us to get food and drinks since we were all out when we were waiting for a tow truck. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you so much Mike and Toye for all your help during our emergency situation.
