It started off with visiting Rayson Winery & Vineyards with Bistro Europa Restaurant in Mocksville, NC. I was greeted and welcomed with a tasting with Coleman. This young lady is so knowledgeable and professional in every aspect when it comes to wine! She explained how it got started, how they cultivated the grapes and overcoming obstacles that was preventing the wine production etc. This vineyard has so much history that any wine lover would love to hear, and Coleman is definitely that someone who could share the story. The wines I sampled all had unique tastes. One of my favorite was Sweet Vermouth Blanc. This is a dessert white wine that has varietals of Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay. The ambiance at this location was elegant and filled with sophistication. The customer service from everyone was great. The manager who made all this possible was Liz, who is the manager of Digital and Social for JOLO Brands. She allowed me to have one of the most exceptional experiences ever! I am a wine lover and I absolutely love sampling and learning the ins and out of the wine industry so having these moments are magical!

I had shopped with Fleet Feet about 10 years ago but they have since upgraded and updated their location and technology. It sounds like it's best to make an appointment, which I did not do, but happily Lucas was available to work with me right away. First we discussed what I was looking for in a shoe and brands/styles that had worked for me in the past. Then I removed my socks and shoes and stood on something resembling a scale but which actually made a 3-D scan of my feet. I then walked across a black mat on the floor several times, which analyzed my gait and whether I had any "hot spots." After these scans Lucas showed me an analysis of the shape of my foot and gait on a tablet. He then used this information and my sock preference (thin, thick or mid) to select try-on socks and a pair of shoes to try on. He used my feedback from the shoes to select other pairs of shoes. He also selected a pair of inserts to address my feet's needs and I tried on the shoes one with the insert and one without, so I could feel the difference. I tried on four pairs of shoes. The first three all felt good but in comparison the last pair just did not feel right and was quickly eliminated. I knew which pair I liked best so I put that on one foot then tried on each of the remaining two to narrow down to my top two, which I decided to purchase. Lucas brought out all colors of both styles so I could select my favorites. I really appreciated his knowledge and patience and am confident I have purchased the best styles of shoes for the health of my feet and body. Recommend!

This does mean that there is a large outdoor courtyard where you can eat a pizza which is shared with other local businesses. It was busy, and I was concerned that I had erred by not ordering in advance, but my pizza was ready quickly. And when it's done properly, a Neapolitan pizza does not take very long to cook, so clearly the operation leading up to that point is efficient. Substantively, the menu has pizzas, a couple of salads, and some dessert options. I indulge in all of the above. The salad I got is quite impressive and is too much for one person at one time. It is an interesting mix of ingredients with nuts, blueberries, and apricot dressing. I am always a tad reluctant to order a white pizza because I like the tomato sauce so much, but the onions and mushrooms on the one I got were suitably mouthwatering. There was a bit of char on this pizza although I could have used more being the char fan that I am. Their version of tiramisu is a cake slice which is quite heavy on the sweet cheese. The vegan options are basically limited to getting a pizza without cheese, which I'm sure is some good bread and tomato sauce but not much of a meal; typical of most Italian places.
