I would highly recommend staying here in either the Cottages or the Hotel (we stayed 2 nights in the Cottage and an extra night at the Hotel). The service was incredible (special thank you to Dan the bartender) and the hotel itself is welcoming, clean, charming and gorgeous. We will be back. And if you are camping or staying somewhere else, the restaurant here is a must!

Unfortunately for myself, during my stay here I ended up having internal electrical problems (absolutely NO fault from the campground). I have Tmobile, which means you will not have service for calls, only "satellite texting" available, if you have that plan. The RV park also has no wifi. However, that wouldn't be an issue...if my rig was working properly. Fortunately for us, Kari helped us out!!! Not only did she let us use her phone to make a bunch of phone calls for mobile mechanics, but she let us connect to the business wifi so we could use our phones to research solutions while at the office. She was SO kind, understanding, and willing to help in anyway she could. Even though we arrived with all sorts of problems, she went above and beyond to make sure we were kept warm and happy. Now for the RV park itself...it is located in the BEAUTIFUL Childs Meadow. Just a few minutes away from Lassen Volcanic National Park's entrance and visitor center. The prices were extremely fair. Full hookups around here were a gem to find. Franks (the restaurant directly in front of the RV park) had the friendliest staff who made us feel welcomed immediately, with a nice selection of comfort foods available. We also ate across the street at the nice sit-down restaurant and WOW it's a must! It was so good we went back twice for dinner. If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL area in the woods, with the kindest staff, and best amenities around for the location and price, then The Village at Highlands Ranch (RV Park) is highly recommended!

What's up: Not too far off the 5 FWY, we made a stop here to charge up before continuing on our…read moretrip up north. Parking: Located in the Holiday Market plaza, you'll see the chargers right as you turn in off Gas Point Road. Mostly rear in chargers, there are a couple of head in spots closer towards the section facing the gas station. Environment: The area seems fairly busy with the nearby Holiday Market. Restrooms can be found in the market, on the right (look for the big Restrooms sign). Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The place was clean and other business were not too far away from the chargers. It's convenient since it wasn't too far away from the freeway.

Might be the largest or most powerful supercharger location I've used with forty-four 250kw…read morechargers. I think Barstow CA has a location with over seventy behind the factory outlet mall. Redding has a smaller location near Sundial Bridge. This larger location is meant for travelers where all the hotels and restaurants are along Hilltop. It's kind of hard to find, as it's in the back parking lot of a Holiday Inn. But I think you won't have any problem finding an open charger.
