I had some spare time and was in the area so wanted to see if I could test drive a Tesla. I went there and asked and was told that if I didn't mind waiting ~1 hour, they had a spot open.
It was a hot summer day when I went so I decided to stay inside. They had free WiFi in the room which was convenient. The password was written on a card which was on the table. The only thing which was missing was AC outlets for customers to use in that room to charge their device.
After waiting ~15 minutes after the hour, the Tesla counselor (I wouldn't call him a salesperson as unlike car manufacturer dealerships, there is no big sales push) showed up and apologized for the delay. He mentioned that he was answering questions from the previous person who went for a test drive.
He took my driver's license and scanned it into his tablet and then we went inside a Tesla 3. He asked me if I ever drove one and I mentioned that I didn't but watched a few videos on it. He explained a few things to me and the test drive was around 2 blocks. The braking or slowing down was a bit difficult for me to get used to but that's another story.
After the test drive, the Tesla counselor answered my questions about payment and financing options. There was no big sales push unlike going to a "regular" dealership.
I would say that this Tesla showroom/center is very good and if you're considering getting a fully electric car and benefiting of the 2 government rebates in the province of Quebec, dropping to this Tesla showroom/center is a no brainer.
I've given them a 4.5 stars which I've generously rounded up to 5 stars. read more
