What I like best is a box of half a dozen medium free range eggs that looks no different to the large size, for 79p and 100% pure squeezed orange juice with juicy bits NOT from concentrate for 95p. Lovely and spacious and much more choices available than other branches I have been too (Camden Town, Old Kent Road), and lots more items on offer and available. I was able to find items that are not stocked in their other branches, i.e. dessicated coconut, sweet and crunchy red peppers, chorizo, Italian pastries, almond biscuits etc. Every week they have special household items on offer, like rugs, shoes, lighting, shelves, garden tools, kitchenware, camping products, vacuum cleaners, and only available that week while stocks last and only available in the larger branches. If you are not into branded goods, you can halve the price of your weekly shop.

No matter which location you go to, you'll always find the same low price international food and OK-looking fresh groceries in its characteristic apocalyptic setting. Oh, and those eternal till queues. This location is medium-to-big-sized, well connected with buses and parking, and I reckon they had most of the items from their weekly promos. Perfect for satisfying Euro expats & anyone who'd rather spend their pennies at the pub instead of "fancier" food from Sainsbury's/Tesco. Do your big shopping here instead!

The size of the place is a little small, but still enjoyed the very tasty and fresh raspberries and the kids got some small refrigerated flan desserts. We had some issues using US credit cards at the self-checkout but service was friendly and figured it out. Probably more convenient to use contactless method next time versus chip.

I prefer this store to many other branches of Waitrose, the store has a good feel to it, and it is in a useful location within a large shopping centre, meaning you can pick up essentials or even do a weekly shop while picking up the rest of your shopping across the mall. They have handheld scanners at the front of the store, meaning you can scan as you walk around the score, or use the QR code for mobile scanning. This is a handy feature more and more stores are offering now, but Waitrose seem to do it well, rather than playing hide and seek with the QR codes (I'm talking about you Sainsbury's) or forgetting about a mobile app altogether (I'm talking about you Tesco) Obviously, the prices are slightly higher than other supermarkets as Waitrose is a more premium brand, but they do have some products where the pricing is reasonable/competitive, the free-from range could be much better, which is the main reason I prefer Marks and Spencer at the other end of the mall. The staff are friendly enough, as typical of John Lewis Partnership stores. 4* - A very good supermarket and a great, unique addition to Westfield Stratford City.

A huge organic selection. A whole shelf of tea. Racks of dried fruits (I am not addicted to dried figs), nuts (cashews!) and I even found jars of sunflower butter here...which is surprisingly good and a good alternative to peanut butter (which they also have). Fantastic ethnic cooking section chock full of sauces, ingredients, grains, rices, beans and any element you probably need, spices, decent bakery with breads, rolls, pitas, etc. Eggs and dairy, beer, wine, a lot of coconut water, and a fresh produce section (outside) which is standard, but nice to have. Things you won't find: fresh meats or fish. Par for the course! The family that runs it is very friendly as well (always so polite!) and I always leave feeling quite good about supporting a local food shop that is not only convenient, but tucked away from the madness of the Old Street roundabout. For me, Broadway Market is ridiculously OTT and too trendy for it's own good. It'd be so easy to go minimalist. Bags of organic oats at £8 a pop, Aduki beans for little Casper or Konrad. HHmm, you get my thinking? But instead, it's a straight up and honest venture. Quite a small premises so their shelves are absolutely stacked. Good range of fruit, nice veg in and all the other trimmings. Pastes, spread, conserves. And little touches, which make you want to come back. They do refils of cleaning product to help everyone stay eco. Things like that. And the guys hanging out were really nice, so yeah, all in all, I really liked what they'd done here. Thanks!

The owner is super friendly, the lemons, the avocados, the plums, everything is such high quality (and inexpensive) that it's gonna be hard for me to shop anywhere else from now on (especially 'cause it's just by my house). I loved the banana soy yogurt by Sojade (a french brand I didn't know 'till then) and I can assure that, despite of the size of the store (it's a small shop though the owner is planning to move to a bigger place, he said), they have pretty much everything, well organized and even if it weren't, the owner will do everything to help you.
