Tesco Metro recently opened in County Road a few months ago, replacing the old Somerfield. It was a welcome sight once it emerged because it is a shop that the area of Walton needs since there previously wasn't a Tesco nearby.
By the looks of it, it has inevitably become a popular place to shop for locals. It is a small store but by observation, they have squeezed in a wider variety of products compared to the Metro store in the city centre. This is all good and well, but it has its drawbacks as I did find that aisles where tightly crammed. If you have a trolley, then it is difficult to manoeuvre especially when it is busy. Even though well-organised, it appears this branch has attempted to squash too many items in.
Personally, I do prefer a more spacious shopping environment and here would not be the choice for me unless I really had to. read more
