I admit, straight-off, that I am not the greatest Tesco fan (sorry, oh - world-dominating supermarket meister) but I realised late into the evening, on my way back home from Vauxhall, that I had run out of coffee and soy milk.
So, in I popped for a quick shop before getting my train. It wasn't a branch I'm familiar with so I had to ask where a couple of items were located. The security guard obliged then proceeded to follow me around giving me the 'evil eye', at regular intervals. Not quite sure what I had done to merit that!
It made me even less likely to want to willingly return there although, in their favour, I must say that the check-out staff were very pleasant. Moral of this story is: go if you must, or if you are in need of urgent supplies. read more
